the air fuel ratio is not adjusted according to the CO settings, and even if it's adjusted then 2 out of 100 SC will be doin it....Originally posted by rio.acharya View Postfew technical things i wanted to ask so please help
1. Is the air:fuel ratio adjusted by measuring the CO emmision values from the exhaust?
the air fuel ratio can be adjusted according to ur liking i.e if you want more 'zoonk' and crisper throttle response or if you're more inclined towards our 'INDIANS' fav word "AVERAGE"........The Magician"

so how can i increase the ratio in my apache 180 by tightening the screw or loosening the screw.Originally posted by rennycornelius View Postthe air fuel ratio is not adjusted according to the CO settings, and even if it's adjusted then 2 out of 100 SC will be doin it....

also i suppose if i make the ratio rich then the idle rpm will also increase and i will have to reduce it with the idling screw
am i right....YOUR BIKE'S KEY IS THE SMALLEST THING THAT GIVES YOU THE POWER OF "X"BHP

The hole you see in the exhaust is nothing but an orifice for drainage of the water/moisture. It also acts as a sort of breather for the exhaust to regulate pressure!!
thank you dude

just get the engine head sealing done well. Nominal oil leaks should be neglected. And throttle not being free try change the spark plug and switching to castrol power1.Originally posted by amar_r15 View PostYesterday i observed there was some oil around cylinder head.....and after that bike is more rough now....throttle is not smooth i.e. not free flow.

for once for 2-3 secs...then i faced this problems
.
i have given my bike to service center...they will return me at evening.
Ok...they said that they will open n see cylinder head n see....hope this faults u mentioned r not thereOriginally posted by abhijeet080808 View Post^^ Can happen due to too rich/lean AFR, tight valve clearences or a vacuum leak on the intake side.
.....then also if there they will do it in warranty
ya they will be sealing it well since they r opening the engine head....i will check d spark plug....Will the warranty will be discontinued if i use castrol power1 since it is 15w40 vs tvs recommended tru4 20w40.Originally posted by nox2505 View Postjust get the engine head sealing done well.
