Most important to do is to add 4 ml of 2t per liter of petrol, shake the petrol vigourously by moving forward at 10 Kmph or so,in gear, and braking with front disc suddenly then, drain out the petrol totally, and inflate tires 2Psi more than recommended. Park the bike in an elevated place, where water cannot submerge it.......and keep rat poison near the cylinder head....to guard your bike from rat attack.

I would suggest you not to go in for mods for your bike so soon., i did all n my bike was showing signs of sickness., but never dropped in performance., i took to the service and got most of my engine parts replaced under warranty., bike was in svc centre for a week.,
            just my suggestion.,

i have to run in the bike again and this time i am doing it how we had done for my friends rd n rtr., changing oil every 300 kms till 2k., maintainin one bunk oil., 4k rpm and ocassional rip+choke n slow down method.,

my warranty ends in 2 months.,

The zma/zmr are wonderful tourers, while the RTR is a wonderful city bike. Not that they dont serve the reverse purpose.

Also keep in mind that ppl with zma/zmr are finding it increasingly difficult to source spares.

sortage of spare for zma i dont think so comany is still producing it so parts will be available .
on tvs it took 1 month to get my right rvm at svc.
and also indicator is not their in stock .
it is on yours what you want tourer or racer

Test ride both the bike. Ride both and buy which you like best. Regarding spares, if you're out of luck... you'll have problems with both HH or TVS spares...

And if you're lucky, then neither of the bike will not give you any reason to seek spares for a year or two

+1. Even I've heard that ZMA spares are difficult to find soon. But at the same time, people here are saying the same about RTR.

Regarding the rest, If you want a sports tourer, then ZMA is the bike for you. Its a gem of an engine, buddy. Just that you don't get some goodies in it what RTR has, like, digi speedo, max speed register, best 0-60 register and all. But it is a great bike.

So, if you want a city devil, go for RTR with your eyes closed.(doesn't mean that it is not good for highways, I tour on my RTR itself and it doesn't give me any problem. (touchwood )

Else if you want a touring machine, then ZMA is the best for you. (Same for ZMA, it is also good in cities, but more of a tourer)

some people here on xbhp are saying vibes will disappear by time and you are saying the other story....
you mean vibrations will increase with time and so is the gears problem
