@ social- apache 180 is supposed to touch 136 on speedo for real.i think chicane has that pic. ill test the top out again.cuz mine refused to go beyond 99 with a pillion and 113 solo.
Well I've never crossed 130 but some have managed it. Guess a long straight (downhill preferred) and you might just hit it.

Just make your a/f mixture richer and you might get better top-end.

                  It's not a 160 for sure.160 has orange coloured display.RTR 160 FI comes with blue back lit display.I guess it's a 180.

                    • chicane man you are unbelieveable!!! please tell me that your using a stock bike with no mods whatsoever! cuz this is tempting me to try!

@ nisnth- i got my service done in triton motors hebbal...1st serivice they polished it but 2nd service it was just horrible.

yesterday i was crusing at about 70, suddenly i had to apply the brakes suddenly the bike, and man its scary to apply brakes suddenly on this bike, the tyres just dont have any traction.whenever i want to apply a sudden brake i have to think twice cuz the tyres slip a lot.there are no problems like this on a pulsar. thats why i tend to lose confidence at high speeds.and i am scared to corner too. these TVS tyres have become nightmare for me!

                      • ^^^^ Get MRF tyres on your bike and you will feel good.
And I hope you know how to brake at high speeds so that tyres don't skid.

TVS Tyres have good traction when on Dry Tarmac ! U can corner at amazing speeds... The only problem is when the road is wet. The bike just refuses to go in a straight line !!! Damn !! I'll have to change tyres this coming monsoon !

Hey dont apply rear brake at high speeds, (plz correct me if i am wrong)
but this is what i do , apply front first, bring down to 40or 30 atleast then apply rear gradualy to stop it.

except for panic braking i use both the brakes and it comes to an awesome stop(when the speed is around 60-75). Even on higher speeds it would be better to apply both the brakes in a progressive manner.
