hehe.. after the cylinder kit and crank replacement, i took it through the moto-man break-in. Now completed 1000kms since replacements. Running on Motul 3100 mineral oil. Last week cleaned the K&N and tuned the carb.. once again freely revving upto 12k. This past weekend, went for a friends marriage to Cochin, 200km away. Hit a top speed of 125kmph. Its back to its full glory.

Regarding the usable reserve, its like 1.5-1.6L of the 2.5L reserve capacity. Told by one trusted SVC mech (who has since moved on to greener pastures ). For me, the low fuel indicator comes on at around 50kms since it goes into reserve. I've never ran the bike till it runs out of fuel, but has gone upto 60km in reserve (while on a spirited run on NH7 doing 100+). So lets assume a safe margin of 1.5 times your nominal mileage. Mine is almost consistently 40 kmpl....

seriously bro.....i can`t beleive my bike giving a 119 outta tht kinda reserve..lets suppose it 1.7...does tht bring my mileage to a 70 (Calculation: 119/1.7...pardon me if my calculation method is wrong....i a bit allergic to maths

check it again, multiple times. If you really get 70kmpl, you should sell the bike back to TVS for double the price... :P

Its been like almost 50 times.....everytime i run untill i go empty...... when i hit reserve i put the Trip B on zero...... everytime i hv hit the range of 116-119......nothin less nothin more...... i guess thn my bike doesn`t hve unusable reserve...it just sucks up the whole tank of 2.5
And if u r advising me to sell it bak to TVS for double price..... i guess i wud wait untill they release the 220/250 model in market

                            Hi

My baby is 5700kms and almost 4 months old. Got her 3rd service done. ASC in Vashi has become super disappointing. They hv fixed some issues and kept the others for the next time, I reckon. Happy that they hv finally fixed the gear issue. It would slip between 3rd and 4th. The front wheels still squeak. Does any1 know a good ASC in and around New Mumbai area? All said and done, she is an amazing machine to ride. Completely rev free. :-) Reaches 100 kmph on the speedo before I can say woohoo!! If I could just fix the niggling issues.

If you have the issue at all RPS then ur AF is the culprit. Rotate that AF refer to one of my post where i have posted a vid for tuning the carb. Try tuning it 3-4 on varying RPS till u get a smooth throttle respoinse ur vibs will automatically come down
