    I would like to know the genuine prices of these 'genuine' products at your place,if they match with these it's well and good.If not,nonetheless,will help me sue the dealer for sure..

    Yeah, the prices are a bit high when compared to Pulsars (if that is how you compare)

        adding to that in blore also front brake lever leg guard rear brake lever are almost the same , so i think its a proper bill

          Problem with my RTR 180 engine kill switch

          Guys I am having a wiered problem with my RTR 180 engine kill switch(Red switch on the right handle bar.

          When i run the bike with headlight on, after sometime the engine kill switch stops working. So when I press the switch, bike doesnt turn off but when i switch off the head light bike shuts off.

          And this thing doesnt happens if I run the bike with headlight off.

          I am having this problem since gear bearing work done on the bike.
          The SVC people have replaced the complete engine cutoff switch unit and it did work ok for sometime but now it has again starting giving up the same problem.

          Guys any suggestions, whats going on wrong here?

            Does any other RTR180 owner have the "Auto Horn" feature?
            What is "Auto Horn" ? Well, its the activation of the ear-piercing horn, when the handle bar is turned to either directions, especially at least expected and least required places like parking lots, among crowded no-horn areas.

                hehe... I will need a day to strip the entire wiring harness and find out where the short circuit is....
                Btw, does anyone know if we can get the engine oil drain nut, oil filter cover nut etc??

                  Over the last week i started taking short cut routes to office and i have hit potohles at high speeds more than thrice or so , now the suspension is very much soft , and when ever i hit a small pothole also i hear some sound from the head lamp region , any idea what has gone wrong ? i checked for leaking oil its fine .

                    done 13500kms
                    previous to previous oil : Tvs Tru4 (mineral)
                    previous oil : TVS Tru4 premium (SS)
                    now : Petronas Sprinta 5000 (FS) grade 10w40 cost:440rs

                    no significant changes observed yet....will update it soon.

                    queries:

                    Strange noise and vibration coming from front chain sprocket region (engine side)....and it comes only when i pull throttle.....at idle throttle even if bike is running at any speed,no sound,but moment u race the throttle,it makes sound...what must be the problem?

                    Mileage:35-40(mostly 35)

                      Carbeuretor

                      I am thinking of installing a 33mm Carbeuretor along with a K&N filter. Any views on the same. A friend of mine told me that it will give me good power pickup top end etc. I just want to know the pros and cons. Any help here??

                          As you know, headlamp region has a lot of plastics.. there might be a screw loose somewhere. Check all the visible screws if they are firm enough. Also do you have a metal (or hard) key-chain? I had a similar "sound from headlamp region" issue but I figured out it was the key-chain hitting the RTR logo region that made the sound !

                            According to this thread (after reading almost all the 300+ pages of it), people do not recommend K&N since it provides more air (and dust) into the engine thereby reducing engine life, although performance would be good. So you decide !

                                ^^^ Showed to any TVS SVC? Got any thing changed regarding this problem?

                                Did this problem start all of a sudden or after some repair work done on your bike like in my case?
