But I guess with the zapper in front, this combination is not very helpful in stability. Also I will reshape the seat to lower the seat height to see if there is any difference.

By the way, I was really surprised to see the weight reduction in the latest passion pro i3s. The new model just weighs 108kg! My model tips in at 120kg. A fibre fuel tank, plastic chain cover, SAI delete & utility box delete has resulted in a massive 12kg loss. Atleast now hero is taking weight reduction seriously.
My bike weighs the 120kg as well. I weighed it on one of those ramps at express bike works. It quoted a figure iof 120.2kgs. The new models are lighter and balanced atleast. I'm not a fan of the i3s technology but the the Splendor Plus weights around 109kg (current iteration) and a full tank makes it 111kgs. HF Deluxe is around the same. The Passion xPro & iSmart FI seems like their most weighed siblings in 110cc segment at 115kgs.

I was surprised to see that iSmart BS6 has a disc as standard, which is a welcome addition. Hopefully it'll be the same on future 110cc models as well. Part of me is most likely sure that the 97cc mill won't be BS6 compliant and nearing it's end of life. Yet to see.

Talking about SAI, my bike doesn't have it (even though all Pro bikes older & newer than mine do). It's one less hassle to deal with.

If you are sensing compression loss and if there is oil film on the spark plug thread then just change the piston rings and valve seals. There is no need of changing the bore unless the bike gives out heavy smoke.

My bike had the same nervousness problem as yours. Its like you get a feeling to put your feet down while moving very slow. It felt like the center of gravity was off. I've also replaced cone set, tyres etc. Now it's running on mrf zapper at the front and motoD at the rear. The issue is almost solved. But with a pillion in city traffic, it still feels weird, as if I have to put some effort to balance it. I assume that it's an inherent problem with the self start models of HH. There is no such problem with older splendors and passion plus.
Swap that Moto D with a Zapper C or a Zapper Y and see if the issue is solved. If you're going to ride in city, you need a tyre with higher ground contact and undirectional treads instead of knobby ones.

Older models had shorter stance, hence lower centre of gravity which made the bike more stable, even with the 18 inch tyres. Ride a CD 100SS or a RX135, you'll see what I mean.

My bike does 75-80 km/hr easily compared to what it did on the old plug. The iridium has improved combustion for sure. My highway FE is around 72kmpl. I get as low as 62kmpl in city and 52ish on poor fuel (adulterated). Have started filling the tank to the brim (not literally) at good fueling outlets.

A few things were back then:

    1. Damaged Handlebar cone-set, changed.
    2. Worn out Front Tyre
    3. Busted Sprockets
    4. Ceat Mileaze as Rear Tyre
    5. Worn rubbers and conesets on the wheels

The tyres from Ceat (except for the Secura & Zoom Moniker) are hard compound so that they last more. These lack quality most of the time and their casting is really bad, as a result they are wobbly on tarmac and make you lose balance on the rear. Currently, I have changed to the following:

    a. Apollo Actizip F2 Front
    b. Ralco Blaster Rear

Both of these tyres are medium compound ones and give excellent grip on both tarmac and sandy surfaces. I initially wanted to get MRF Nylogrips for both ends, but the tyres were out of my budget. Swapped both tyres at the same time and with a new fronty brake shoe, lockset and throttle cable as well. My bike has some 70k+ but the worn out meter was stuck on 36k for ages until I repaired it. All major work has been done in the last 10k kms and a block change seems imminent in the next 10k kms. It's losing compression and the area around piston has become ovalled. A correct fitting sized ring should solve the purpose hopefully. The block itself isn't damaged.

    1. Handle grips and bracket
    2. Battery
    3. Headlight and reflector (Osram Silverstar)
    4. HT Coil

Bismaya bro, in an older post you had mentioned about nervousness/imbalance feeling of your splendor pro during slow speed riding or riding with a pillion. Do you still face it? I thought that it was a problem only on my bike till I read your older post.

    Hi all,

I have changed the old Excitor Coil (327 ohms) inside magnet with a new Swiss make (401 ohms), today.

This resulted in better spark and performance in my Splendor.

Tomorrow I plan to retune it.

I presume this should result in better performance & fuel efficiency.

Peanuts costs more than a pair, get them from any reputed hardware store.

I went a spares shop & bought one for Rs 20, but it is not fitting properly in the groove provided. Hence the needle moves up& down by almost 5 to 7 mm. but served the purpose.

I feel that due to this my average came down. Please suggest should i replace it with original one. I feel that original comes as set with needle.

    Any suggestion?

Please use a Bond Paper of same size with a hole carved in it.

Use three such sheets and place them in desired position on the needle.

Use Feviquick Gel / liquid to harden these three pieces at the place.

Then it should work appropriately (as required).

I found this cap on Flipkart and says it will fit CD Deluxe but comes with screws which I don’t see in my bike - ..
I don't think the flipkart one will fit your bike , bike fuel-tanks are usually matched for the fittings they came with . There are safety issues too with the fuel-tank's parts . So if your tank-cap is become defective , better replace with the exact same part - that too with the OE part from Hero authorized parts reseller . I think the part No for CD-deluxe tank-cap is 17620-KTC-H01 . Even the Splendor's tank-cap has to be taken off and held in the other hand while refilling
