I agree with what Ashwin has said here.

1/2 is the way to go.

Universal so accessories can easily be purchased, strong enough for whatever a motorcycle can throw at it.

Just make sure you get 6 point sockets instead of the 12 point ones which are commonly available as the latter tends to round off stubborn bolt heads.

    Cheers,
    A.P.

    Good quality and cost effective.
Consider purchase from Amzn / Flpkrt.

I got the 1/2" drive socket set last year.

JCB / Yato / Taparia are other options.

Interestingly, the grade of oil is not mentioned on the bottle. It's written that it's synthetic and can be used for both front and rear suspension. The oil appears to be really thin. I think it's a 10w or 5w maybe.

My passion pro completed 1 lac km 2 weeks ago. An year ago I had given it to the ASC for changing the front fork oil and oil seal. After the work the oil leak from the forks completely stopped but the suspension had become unusually stiff. For a whole year I rode it as it is as there was no leak but ultimately got fed up due to the stiffness. Then I decided to do it my self rather than giving it to the ASC.

I watched a video of a youtuber called 'Miktecrep' for reference. He is a proffessional, a hero honda specialist and his videos are very detailed. In the video, he had mentioned to be careful about the direction of the springs as it can seriously affect stiffness. In the last pic the side of the spring marked with the red arrow should go inside the tube and the side with the green mark should be at the top. To my surprise the springs were placed exactly the opposite way when I opened the fork. It was the reason behind the high stiffness of my front suspension. It also says that the ASC mechanics are not well trained by the parent company.

I only changed the oil as the seal was good. I used TVS suspension fluid which cost only rs 100 and poured 155ml in each fork. Never thought that it would be such an easy DIY job. The ASC charges rs 800 for the same!

Wont improve charging, would just ensure your electricals work well in the event that the battery is underperforming.

I'd run solely on the Capacitor on my CT100B.

Also noticed that the above versions of CD deluxe and splendor nxg have the new model engine with self start and use a NON-CAT silencer!

Experts on this thread please provide more info about these peculiar versions.

It's hard to source veedol engine oil here while motul/shell/castrol is available easily. Earlier the ASC had tide water mfd hero 4t plus. Now it's changed to bharat petroleum.
