I have a TBTS 350, 2014. Yesterday I changed the RVM to Bajaj Avenger OEM. It was a DIRECT fit with ample coverage of the background. The cost per RVM is 302.00 rupees which wz manufactured on Feb, 2016.

This is my first post in xBhp. I hope I will post in future which will help you guys to DIY with your sweet heart ♥, I mean the TBTS.

Changed back to the stock TB handlebars.
Funny thing is that all over the internet and in every forum it has been mentioned that the RD 350 handlebars are the most comfortable.
With my fit there were excessive vibrations in the range of 60 to 70 kmph. It seemed that Shakira was dancing on ground which was effected by an earthquake and twister combined.😃
The vibs started from the bars and extended all the way to the chasis. My TB has done 20k in 7 months and never had any mechanical issues. Due to the vibes the nut which holds the rpm adjustment got dislodged from its original position and the bike started revving high when the clutch was compressed.
Apart from that the vibes extended all over the chasis to the footpegs and the seat.
I travel 160 kms to and fro from office and home and for the last 3 days felt extreme exhaustion due to the vibes.
I had also switched to Avenger rvms considering they would not vibrate. However the blur was so bad that the images in the mirror were hallucinated ( I saw 2 images of 1 vehicle which wasn't visible whether it was a 2,3 or 4 wheeler.
Totally disappointed with the experimentation and lesson learnt that stock items on the bike are not to be messed with.

SidharthaN that is strange indeed.. I've seen many bikes installed with rd handlebars, and none of them complained... Yours is an odd case where the rpm but got dislodged.. 😵 Anyway.. You said it right.. Stock is always best option.. Unless its the rvms 😜. Those are better with the avengers..

Before switching back you should have tried longer and lighter bar end weights. The stock end weights that you fixed are for a shorter handle bar as you will know and hence are pretty heavy. For an extended handle bar you will need a different end weight configuration. That's the only thing you should have tried. One easy way to start is to swaping the end weights with avenger, Apache RTR, Pulser end weights which are longer and lighter. Secondly post 70kmph there is vibes in stock handle bar as well atleast in 2008 Thunderbird
Cheerio!

I did not spend any more money, time and patience in sorting this out. I had already invested a lot in getting this right.

My stock TB bars do not vibrate all the way till 80kmph. That is the range I drive in and is vibe free. Post 80 is when it starts the massage !!

Has anybody tried switching to the synthetic engine oil for their TB350? The service centre mechanic tells me they make the engine become extra smooth and vibe free as compared to Liquid Gun...can anyone shed some light on this? Is it safe for the engine? Any suggestions on best quality synthetic engine oil for TB350?

Use 5100, I use it and it's super. The changing interval is between 4000-5000 km. So you get more for the money that you pay. The engine is super smooth compared to when mineral oil was used. You can also switch to full synthetic but I cannot comment as I have never used it. But semi synthetic should be adequate
