AFAIK 5100 is not fully synthetic, its hybrid. But that is what is recommended for the bike surely. The liquid gun engine oil is of exactly same grade as motul 5100 15W50. So if you were using that earlier, it is highly unlikely you will notice any difference at all. BTW just checked, its available on amazon for 462 Rs.

      Cheers!

        Hmmm...I was suspecting the same.
But I have gotten really good reviews from some members on this forum as well as the RE mechanics themselves...They all said engine becomes smoother and its best for the bike!! So let me give it a bit of time to see if it's true.

BTW I knew I would get it cheaper online...but I wasn't ok with the idea of buying something as critical as engine oil for my bike from an online store. I just couldn't afford to trust someone selling me the oil from 1000kms away as compared to someone selling it near my home. To each his own though!!

        Cheers!!

5100 is amazing. It's semi synthetic and works great. Changing interval 4000-4500 km. Using it for last 2 years
          Cheerio!

There are a lot of windshield in the market. The one which is on my bike is actually useful in deflecting the wind. I have used it in extreme winters it was helpful in keeping the blast deflected. It is surely sturdy and does not impact the weight or handling of the bike. As far as reflections are concerned you have to keep it clean on a regular basis ( Colin Spray, or cleaning with water works ), if you place the level below you eyesight by about 3-4 inches then you get ample view of the road and does not impact the visibility.

I have a set of 4 additional lights. Two of them are fitted along with the main headlight behind the windshield and these are halogens. When lighted it does give some reflections on the overall perimeter of the windshield and to some extent where the throw connects with the windshield right in front of the lights but nothing which is bothersome. With the LED floods which I have there are no reflections whatsoever.

This is feedback on the windshield I have which is generally preferred for RE's. There are others which are smaller and different in shapes and sizes. Cannot comment on those. But if you are planning to get a windshield fixed go for this one !!

This is the reflection with the LED floods, but mind it I have it fixed on the crashguard. Not sure how it would be if you fit this behind the windsheild

Haha ! So I have tried all positions with my stock handlebar, towards me ( there was a lot of pain, experienced the same after positioning the same on a 900kms ride ). Got it positioned away from me ( the concentration of the pain moved and centered to the neck centre bone just beneath the skull and the shoulders running from there ). The issue ironically cropped up after the RD350 handle replacement. I had kept that handle for 3-4 days and that was the nail in the coffin. There were excessive vibes experienced on the shoulder and I assume it got stressed beyond repair. Hence the changing back did not prove any useful.

So am actually out of ideas. The best is for me to consult a doc or stop riding for sometime !

The LED's are a direct fit no change in the electricals. The halogen fogs besides the headlight require an additional relay to be added to the wiring. But my battery cannot withstand the load of all 4 running at the same time. Have the option to switch alternately as per my choice and requirement.
