    Sorry throwing so many questions..
Yes, you can always install alloy wheels and tubeless tyres on the bike. Lot of people sell direct fit alloy wheels matching the wheel size. The continental gt set will be of no help, since there is a tube used inside that tubeless tyre.

Normally one set of alloy wheels will cost you 9-10k plus the cost of the tyres.

    Cheers!

Gear for sale: fake A* bionic knee guards, 3" bar end mirrors. PM if interested.

Is it?? I was in a notion that Continental GT Aluminium wheels support tubeless tyres hence Perilie on them...

Has to go for alloys from after market shop or from showroom any ideas on the prices and has any one in the thread gone for it..

Aftermarket. Although few showrooms might be able to help you with that looking at the popularity of those. Ask at your nearest showroom while you go to check the bike.

Parado is a well known brand for alloy wheels.. you might be able to get your hands on a set of tubeless alloys.. On the other hand, I would suggest stick to stock

            Hi,
I looked around for alloy wheels cause i dreaded pushing my TB incase of pucture.I cant push it normally god knows what I would do incase of puncture. But there was some news about pulsar alloys breaking off etc so that scared me.
got my tyres filled with slim-which is supposed to protect tyres incase of puncture.
not sure how helpful it is cause I havent had a puncture yet-is it because of the slim or i didnt actually get a puncture.
So my post is not much of a help I guess.

Yes you cannot avoid cracking rims on high impact collisions with rocks, potholes etc. But how frequently do you have such impacts, and in case of such an impact, I'm sure you'd have more to worry about other than a cracked rim. Punctures on the other hand, are more likely to happen, so its kind of a tradeoff. I would recommend you stick to spoked wheels in case you do a lot of offroading, or riding frequently on really bad roads.
Spokes provide much better shock absorption than alloy wheels.

The slime you get I've heard is as good as useless. I spoke to a major mrf dealer and he suggested me to avoid the slime, as it hardens the tube over time making it less flexible and more prone to cracking. Also, if you do get a puncture in a slime filled tube, only thing you can do is replace the tube. Punctures will not happen so easily if your tyres are in good condition. In my 28000 kms I've had a puncture only once. Now I have changed the tyre too.

              Hope this helps a bit.

              Cheers!

Yes true, because riding conditions and preferences are varied. Its my dream to be able to run my bike on two completely different setups with wheels, handlebars lights, etc for city and touring rides. Let's see if I can manage that someday.. [emoji14]

Hey tell me something. I had a previous TB AVL on which I had fixed Parado Alloys 5 spoked ones. The bike got sold however I still have the alloys. Can I install them on my TB UCE. Someone told me this cannot be done since the back wheel is smaller than the previous TB's

Yes the back wheel is smaller in the model with disc brakes. Its 18" not 19" like the previous one.

                      Cheers!

So the 19 inch non disc alloys which I have cannot be fitted on the new TB

Hello!!! I am facing a problem regarding a humming sound coming from my bike whenever I ride on first 3 gears. It goes away once I release the throttle but again comes back when I increase the throttle. I don't know where it is emanating from?? Do you guys have any idea or faced this kind of situation?? I have 11000+ in odo and it's nearly 1.5 years of age. Is it a concern or should I ignore it?
                                Thanks....
