You never thought about the CBR250R ABS?? give a shot read TD at the Mahindra Mojo 300 or the TNT25...

All the above mentioned bikes except TNT25 (As I don't know much about the brand) have a better review.. I mean, unless you are a RE fan and ready to take your bike to SVC often..

If you don't mind, can you tell me what bike you use now? I see you are one of the few RE Owners who actually talk the truth about the bike and not go bashing at those who know how unreliable the bike is..

CBR ABS is out of range... It's 1.9 lacs ex-showroom STD could be a choise..

Mahindra Mojo 300 will check Mahindra showroom.. Any idea of the cost??

      TNT25 never heard of it.

I still ride my RE. Its been a 28000 kms of up and down journey so far. This is my first bike ever, and I plan on keeping it for life. Even if I get myself other vehicles in future.

I love my bike, but I accept all its flaws. Only reason I bought the RE tb 350 is that its the only option in this budget for a descent cruiser. I'm not a sports bike person truly, and the avenger just didn't cut it for me.

This is the bike on which I actually learnt how to ride a motorcycle. So I forgive her with her maintenance needs as she forgives me with the crashes and the crazy clutch handling in my earlier days.

Hope you get the sentiment of it. And this is what will happen to every RE owner. You will end up really loving it despite all its flaws for the character and its experience, or you will end up completely hating it for the piece centuries old engineering that it truly is. There is no middle ground.

And the latter is a tad costly IMHO. So just wanted you to be sure what ull be getting into. Hope I've done my part.

        Cheers!

Checked TNT25 - not available at my place plus I don't like naked bikes specially that exhaust sound like kills me (personal choise).

Mahindra Mojo - checked it's over done plus Mahindra as 2wheller doesn't appeal me.

So left with CBR250R - yes I could have gone for it but vibration from visors are like irritating specially after expirencing it with ZMA and ZMR...

Hence left with TB and Classic.. Hope that clarifies my choise.. Hope members now can help me out..

Changing only the bulb is apparently not possible in the new model, it is sealed, or so the SVC told me. Hence changing of whole headlight assembly and meter due to electrical shorting.

Yes it was under warranty second time. Issue is not everywhere you can find an exide dealer on a ride, and you need to change battery anyway.

                        Hope this helps.
changing the bulb is absolutely possible. i had the ASC take out the bulb on my TB for some adjustments, so i am absolutely sure about that.

the Enfields are a faulty breed of bike.
like an analogue watch in a smartwatch era.
however, analogs still have their appeal, and its the same appeal that drives people to buy REs.

apart from that everything is crappy.

even the newer scooters are faster than the REs.

that said, I still love my TB.

FFS, the Himalayan has a carb, and yet no kick starter. good luck starting it on a freezing morning in the himalays.

Does anyone know how much CO2 does the RE 350 produce?? I am doing a bit of personal research to counter people who say riding in the forest harms the jungle. While I do think vehicular pollution is harming but I believe a few guys going through a jungle will do nore good than harm.
