I have one question, this FX doom doesnt have parking light.. I know it is possible to drill a hole & fix it M little sceptical about doing the same just for the sake of having parking light

Second - I want to know if any problem in doing DC for stock 35w bulbs with stock 2.5A battery.
hmm its upto you .I felt the ambi's dome was bigger than the fx's.Btw the ambi's dome has the slot for parking light.

        ...

by diffuser @Jatin: get it checked at the authorised HH service center, in case you are not doing it already. Also, please check with other bike model owners, since one of them could have experienced this issue earlier.
        by abhilashabhi @ Jatin

I would advice U best to get it checked in HH Authorized service centre for this Issue like Difuser said.
as per you have said i have got it checked they are also saying the same problem and said the engine has to be opened in order to replaced that bearing..
but it is said that once the engine got opened it cannot perform as well as
        it do before.....

Totally baseless. If engine is open and closed again meticulously, no problem would be encountered. On the contrary, you may get some more info on the general health of the engine, like carbon deposit on piston crown, valvs, valve seats, etc.

There are certain things which are beyond the capability of roadside mechanic. Another thing is that if there is anything broken like seal, bearings, etc., it can be procured from non HH people also. But if something basic structure of the engine like shafts, pulleys, crank parts have some problem, then only service station will be able to provide required parts. Since it would require complete tearing down of the engine, you better go to ASS only since roadside mechanic would also charge labour cost even if it is not able to procure the parts. But one

                hi all,

as most of u may know that SHE-BZ disc PAD cost 1700 bucks.
i my second habd bike they were missing and so i decided to put local 100 rupees pads and as the consequence now the front wheel is jammed/locked.

if i rotate it with full force it wont turn more than 2 rotations.
i tried lathe to grind the pad and reduce thickness but all in vain.

any suggestions guys regarding this disc pads problems

both me and my she-bz will be thankful

i have also used these 100 rupees pads they works. but bike will be lil tight for several kilometers and after that will work normally.....
i ll suggest u to go for the japenese pads they costs around 350-400 rupees and are better than that of these 100 rupees one..

Getting any complex component open, I would suggest the auth HH mechanic. My carb was cleasned by a reputed, but still roadside mechanic and the bike was never the same after. Misfiring, burning smell, powerless rpm range of 3-4k, just to name a few.

Jatin, please ask the mech in detail about what needs to be changed. He may throw words like rocker arm, camshaft, timing chain, etc, coz these are what get worn with the kilometers. That would help us diagnose the problem better.

^^ If you want to use a higher wattage h/l or HID, go for ambassador's dome - costs 120 bucks but looks a bit retro!

brother as have told u earlier clutch part of my bike had opened twice
and now when i showed it on hh service stn. he told me the bearing through which the gear shaft passes is somewhat boken. that is why problem is coming
so in order to replace that bearing the engine is to be opened....

Projection lamps(similar to that of Pulsar 220). It's a chinese made set, original comes from Hela(called auxiliary lamps). N ya I saw the pic sunny has put, his single tube looks bit bigger. Not sure if it's the same :/

Hey Sunny, yup the kit am using is Projector lamps, but to make it work I had to get the re-coliling done(twice, first time in vein, as it couldn't provide sufficient power) and upgraded the battery as well. I was wondering how come u got such a phenomenal performance that too on highways, after connecting directly from dynamo?!?
