Thanks broOriginally posted by <F.I> View Poststrange....the delhi probiking team has also mentioned on facebook that instruments will go digital by june
congrats bro....you followed your heart and went for green....good decision....
.
The wait will kill me sir ,Originally posted by bluevolt View PostThe wait is something, isn't it? Forget the bike, I waited for the SHOWROOM to open first and then wait for the bike. Luckily my good relations with Janaki Ram got me the bike in 20 days instead of the mandatory 90-120 day period in 'those days'!
Cherish the waiting moment and the the first weeks of ownership and discovery. Those days will never come back again!
Haha ! I can't wait though
. I drove my manager mad today just before the booking today asking her whether i could leave early ! I think i'll become old by the time i get it
! 15 long days ! thankfully not as long as you :P .
OT- I've seen your DIY for the rear mud guard , any DIY's for the R15 ?
Thanks,

AFAIK, the 2011 is equoipped with the same analogue instruments.
IMHO, analogue dials are way easier to read than digital gizmos at high speeds - the needles tell you at a glance your status, while the digital readouts need to first eliminate basic problems like glare, etc., I've also heard this comment from several SBK owners.
However from the purely aesthetic perspective, the analogues do look dated.

I'd inquired the probiking people about the availability that you'd mentioned , they said 2 greens got sold and only black was available .
I somehow like the needle whooshing up ! On my R15 its just like some numbers changing !
General question -
Should i get any accessories for the bike ?
Frame sliders and tank pad ?Stock is boring , power is everything .

...i'd prefer a semi-digi console rather than a full digital...
tank pad and frame sliders - definitely buy them if you can....Torque...because sometimes testosterone just doesn't cut it..

Guys! After a lot of difficulty and searching the internet for many days, I have finally managed to chance upon a free copy of the 500 page service manual for the Ninja 250R. And this is NOT the carb manual which is so freely available, this
is the FUEL INJECTION version manual:
Download before its gets removed from that website!
Download the whole copy - great for reference sakes and common troubleshooting. I have read both the carb and the FI service manuals, and this FI version has a lot more details related to our Indian version!
