  • @ xionite , trustvishwas guys thanks alot for your help. But today morning had gone to PBK to collect my old parts and found out that the NINJA stickers are available. I couldn't resist myself and bought it. But then found out the stickers are for black Ninja ( Grey Colour stickers) so kept my amount as advance with them. They will arrange the black stickers in a week's time.

Shocking though a pair of Original Stickers cost Rs. 1642.00

@ xionite i need the same size as the Original one's same as how they come factory fitted.

(most important) apart from the Rs 1642, is how it will be fixed on your bike. i hope pbk will do a decent job. the area has to squeaky clean and dry. sticker to be applied without any air trap (bulge) in them and not touching the gummed area by hand. not done properly can come off/look bad. take care.

I had the same concern when they pasted the sticker onto my new fairing after replacement - but the guys in Chennai PBK knew exactly what they were doing and also had some marker reference on the transfer sheet to get the exact position on the fairing.

They were done in under a minute!

              • did a ride to vedathangal today. write up and pictures in tour thread. Did a casual turn of the bike into parking and presto before I knew what was happening my ninja was down. In fact I put her down slowly. With luggage tied on the rear seat I could not hold her up. Some local guys helped to lift her on to the stand. Fortunately she was okay. one has to extra careful especially when you turn her tight and handle locked or play superman which i am unable to do.

Good to hear you are fine and could ride back... i would like to ask the same question which you asked me, so that we can try to analyze what actually played reason for the fall or the similarity of our falls... what do you think happened?

ninja handle turns less than ordinary bikes which has to be factored in while making turns especially slow and locking the handle on one side. i locked the handle and turned right and braked for parking.the bike was already tilted on the right side. sudden stop right tilted bike and luggage tied on the rear seat, the full weight came on the right. well my fault not to maintain the correct CG. i could not hold her up.. simple as that and kept her on the ground. like i said before if one has brute strength this could not have happened and could hold the bike without dropping. sorry guys i dont have it.

for me its a reminder to be more careful and not to do things casually. my casual attitude has resulted in this, by the way its the second time for me. first drop already reported in this thread way back.

Did you apply the front or back brake for parking? Yes, I remember reading about your previous fall (you did quote about not being able to hold the Ninja's weight back then too).

It is very easy to drop your bike with luggage tied up. The luggage / saddle bags change vehicle dynamics drastically while turning. Once you cross a certain degrees of lean, weight of luggage is leveraged and bike starts dropping very fast.

Even a superman can't stop this with brute strength. Only thing that you can do is put out your leg while taking tight turns at walking speeds.

that's a valid point there TV, but after a certain stage in riding, we become hesitant to put your leg down while making a turn unless we feel we are about to fall. Not sure about others but I tend to feel hesitant, thinking in my mind that i can make through since I lean more during cornering. What i forget is the speed, how less it is from when cornering. Maybe I should start practicing to put my leg down at turns deliberately.
