You dont have to produce the bike for inspection unless the insurance policy has expired.Originally posted by sreehari_r1 View PostDo we have to show the bike to pay for the insurance, before due date?? Any idea about the price of green tail in probiking????
The green tails cost 2200/- for each side at PBK (as quoted by one of the owners). Bluevolt got his from one of his trips abroad and mentioned that the prices here for the tails are a steal, in other words, go for it.

yes there is a leak. please have a through check.Originally posted by gouravkatyal View PostGuys a query... How often do you get the air pressure checked? In my case the pressure in the rear tyre drops by a couple of PSIs pretty quick (couple of days) but then stays at that value... not sure if there is a leak, so thought of confirming...Mountain biking on impulse with my wife and our bike goes down in water

Now the question is should I go for the 0% depreciation for 8k
or the normal insurance for 5k.sigpicI feel like Clark Kent on the streets riding the Pulsar, On the track.. with my Ninja.. I feel like Superman.

If you are planning to hit the tracks more than once in a year, I think 0% will be betterLast edited by sreehari_r1; 02-01-2011, 09:37 PM.

Is that a characteristic of tubeless tyres?Originally posted by harikeshpk View Postyes there is a leak. please have a through check.
@ Gourav - Do you always fill and check the air on cold tires? If you filled on a very cold morning and then checked a few days later on hot tires, then this could be the reason.
I've been running on N2 from day one - always taking care that I filled/topped up in the morning with cold tyres. As a result I need to top up only once in about 45 days when the pressure has dropped by about 1-2 PSI.

About 4K after the no claim bonus...Originally posted by rohitraghavan View PostOriental insurance is 5005 as per the document. Any idea how much it is from the following year, provided there are no claims??
Not really, typically I get em checked while getting back from office so the tyres aren't cold... in case there was a puncture I was expecting the pressure to drop much further though so thought of asking hereOriginally posted by Sunnyside_up! There you go - Rule No 1 of filling your tyres - cold tyres only!
Warm or hot tyres will expand and the PSI reading will be inaccurate.

Hi Guys,
I had a minor crash yesterday nite. There was a spill (oil/greasy water) on the road just 5-10 metres before a speed breaker and I braked (I do front only) and the bike slid out from under me. The bike fell to the right (not very fast, I would have been around 15, max 20 kph). I picked it up and apart from the crash guard on the right being bent, a small dent in the exhaust (already dented previously from an earlier major accident), rear brake lever scuffed off and a 3-4 inch long scratch/gash on the right fairing there was no other visible damage (no broken indicators, no other fairing damage, no apparent performance loss (although I was a little tired to notice this).
What, according to you, should the major concern areas be?
P.S. I came back from CSS without a crash, and guess what the first riding experience back in town was like
.

Sorry to read about your crash. Luckily the speeds were less so the damage is not much. Hope you are fine as well.Originally posted by rainy'or'rainey View PostWhat, according to you, should the major concern areas be?
Just check if there is any fluid leaking from the bike and if the mechanicals are working fine, like the brakes, etc. Also check the forks, clip-on's etc for any damage as it can affect handling.
P.S. Which crash guard do you have on the bike?ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!
