    I can vouch for the Super Streets - was wearing them when I crashed and I didn't even know that my right foot had impacted the ground till I examined the boots later. They had protected my toes very well, though they got scuffed badly.

    I had posted a short review on these boots with pics in the riding gears thread.

          Yes, then I face the same issue as well. So does n_adtiya. To be honest, I would like to know more about it as well.

          Have you checked the swingarm alignment markers? Have been planning to do that but havent gotten around to it yet.

            Well the bike is stable with both or even one hand on the handle bars. With both hands off and at low speeds like 50k's the handle bars shake quite a bit. I dont know if its an issue but could be due to road conditions, cross winds etc. but it doesnt hurt to get it checked out.

            will pop in to the SC on the weekend and have it looked into.

                I tried googling for it, most answers point to swingarm mis-alignment, worn out tyres, wheel bearings.

                Also, an interesting post on one of the forums,

                As soon as i saw the title to this topic i thought: Kawasaki. EVERY ZZR 250 and GPX250 i have ridden will shake the front wheel. Only happens when your slowing down and have let go of the handlebars. They will shake quite violently from side to side (like a mini-tankslapper) until you put your hands back on them. My advice: buy a honda or anything else cos you know you will be buying quality

                  rightly put. it feels exactly like a controlled tankslapper. I doubt if its an issue with bearings etc. cos then it would be a design issue and not just a manufacturing defect. Swingarm misalignment should be investigated and ruled out.

                    If you immerse them in water, water will get in but for riding through rains etc. Water gets in from air vents located on back of your ankle so while riding, water dosen't seep in and also the inner lining is not damaged by water.

                    Personally, I feel that they offer better protection than others pointed out by you.

                    Ultimately, it is a personal choice.

                      Picked up a DSG nero and Puig frame sliders from DSG yestde...(was in Pune for some work)...has anyone tried fixing the sliders by themselves...coz the DSG guys kept sayin it can be done w/o takin it to a mechanic...

                          Ark tried fixing it himself but you need a jack to hold the engine in place since the main bolt goes through the engine mount. Better to get it done at the service center.

                          P.S. Hope you never get to test the effectiveness of these sliders.
