tried keeping track of the fuel expences(mentally) then completely lost the figures

by the first month.
btw my fuel expences might be around 26k with 27k onboard and 360rs for front pads(twice) and 360rs(spark plugs)plus 1k for p135 noplate mod and back to stock are the only expences till date apart from the engine oil..

yep wont change for another 2 to 3 yrs . crossed the 27k mark today morning now it might be 2703X

What is your fuel consumption? 27k kms and 27k INR?

27K rupees means roughly 350 L of petrol.

27000 kms/350L = 77+ kmpl. Are you sure? Its abnormal for any >100 cc bike.

lol sorry it might be near 50 to 55k rs...monthly i use about 2.8k so roughly it should 50 to 55k(coz of holidays and all)..see this is why i lost the figures in the first month itself.. :chunky: .forgot to multiply fuel expenses by 2 for the second year.

Fuel (1500*29 months) = 43500
Servicing (6X150 + 12 X 500+ 1000) = 7900
Engine Oil - (350X18 services) = 6300
Rear tire - (Pirelli SD done 18000K.M.) = 3050
Front Disk Pad (stock) = 1200
Rear Disk Pad (stock) = 1180
OSRAM NB (60/55) = 550
Carbon Graphic + others = 500
20SDM LED (Pilot + Number plate) = 450
Filter (stock) = 250
Disk Oil (Dot 4) = 100
Spark Plug - NGK conventional = 80
____________________________________________
TOTAL = 65060 (Only)

Approx per month expenditure(65060/29)= 2243 (approx)

Fileter changed at around 20000 K.M. Spark plug just changed in last service at around 26K odd K.Ms... Do you have any idea on NGK G-Power?? Cost and does it worth it?

Filter should be changed every 8-10k kms and plug at 12-14k kms.

G power is good. Costs 170.

since summer is at its peak .. engine is heating more .. i can feel hot waves coming from engine .. & fuel tank gets hot in no time after parking .. & mild knocking while accelerating. no power lose or drop in mileage . the heat from engine makes me stand in a shadow place to let engine cool down after driving 20km in city traffic ..

Shifting to 15w40 or 20w40 oil would help.

I also observed mild tappet noise in my bike today. Need to get that adjusted.

Ideally you should not! I use Shell Rimula R4 15w40. Works all year round.

Do you use the clutch a lot?

Yes .. my clutch gets lose after every 400-600 km .. have replaced 2 clutch wire n last one was at 12k km
