Get clutch freeplay adjusted. Clutch getting loose every 400-600 km is not good.Originally posted by ice man View PostGot a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
1. The zmr mirrors have this tendency to shiver during riding they will not remain completely still...If you have an issue with your mirrors getting loose frequently from the fairing attachment i suggest put a allen bolt in it...(RX 100) kickstand bolt....fits in properly and the loosening issues is resolved. but as far as the shivering is concerned....i dont think there is any solution..:-)Originally posted by sarkartheruler View Post1. Is there any way to adjust the loose mirrors? The fitting with the fairing I can tighten, but the mirrors seem loose and vibrate while riding.
2. For the headlight adjustment screw, can we move with finger itself or do we need a driver?
3. What is the best rear tire without any stock setup change.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2.You need a screwdriver.....or a 10no T-spanner....but a star screwdriver is preferred as it is small and can easily reach the tuning bolt..(Which has star screw cleave to use screw driver too)
3. Discussed and used by many out here....a Pirelli Sports Demon 110/90/18 tubeless.....as of now the best tyre for the ZMR Rear after the Michelin M45(Discontinued now)Regards-

But isn't PSD also discontinued?. Also thought it was with tube only. Anyways I don't want a tire that is prone to punctures.Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View Post3. Guys, the current ZMR model is about 5 years old and in fact about to be discontinued but still I'm getting curious looks on the bike all the time. People are asking annoying questions like how much is the cost, mileage etc Yesterday itself I got asked 2 times by my office security guards. When i tell mileage is around 45, they're like why is it so low.
There are many of the other big bikes in the campus as well like CBR, Ninja but I guess ZMR has a biggest form factor. What say guys?

But believe me I am using it for almostban year now, and trust me there is nothing lik it in wet roads... It's a leach and sticks to roads...
And regarding querries asked here and there regarding cost and other details irritates me especially if you are doing it for almost 3 years...
But it some how gives a sense of satisfaction that even after 3 years my bike is till looked upto!!!

Guys I'm facing some problems with my zmr, I've been riding my zmr and suddenly the oil indicator light lights up and the engine stalls. I've had this problem a number of times, got the engine oil renewed got it replaced with motul 5100v still the problem persists. Any idea guys if u have faced a similar problem??

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Your engine is fine. But I guess that the plug was running hot. Though a sideways pic clearly showing the tip would help. But don't keep a plug for >12-14k kms.Originally posted by antan_shank View PostHow do you see the old plug status?? And idea about other details that are vissible from the plug condition... Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Is that the stock tyre for Karizma - R/Xtreme/Hunk? Is it a tuff up tyre? The kind that deflates slowly if punctured.Originally posted by padfootmoony2006 View PostIf you wish to have another option a well built Tyre...then opt for MRF Zapper Q....but its tube type.
I am usually a gentle rider and don't offroad much. My main concern is on slightly sandy roads. The tires skid too easily in such conditions. Also during panic situations you don't want to feel helpless. Will Q offer noticeable improvement to Y?Last edited by sarkartheruler; 04-10-2014, 03:32 PM.

Nope! Stock tires are 100mm ones. This is 110 mm.Originally posted by sarkartheruler View PostIs that the stock tyre for Karizma - R/Xtreme/Hunk?
Absolutely! Using Q for over 16k kms now.I am usually a gentle rider and don't offroad much. My main concern is on slightly sandy roads. The tires skid too easily in such conditions. Also during panic situations you don't want to feel helpless. Will Q offer noticeable improvement to Y?

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
If you mean the ECU check light (The one to the left of the Neutral light when ur onboard your bike)..It can be a minor issue or a major issue both. As a part of the first aid process..check your air filter chamber for any thing that is stuck there that is obstructing air flow. Then check any loose connection in the batter terminals. And lastly get the fuel filter and fuel pump checked by an expert.Originally posted by suvrat22 View PostGuys I'm facing some problems with my zmr, I've been riding my zmr and suddenly the oil indicator light lights up and the engine stalls. The stock that comes with the bikes you mentioned is Zapper Y. Q i suppose comes with the new Thunderbird and even the CBR150.(But comes as tubeless in 130 section for CBR150).Originally posted by sarkartheruler View PostIs that the stock tyre for Karizma - R/Xtreme/Hunk?

For ZMR the section will be 110 but it doesnt come in tubeless as per my knowledge. But yes its better than stock Y in all conditions...its got a rounded edge for better cornering and has slant groves which also cover the center of the tyre....!!
