Maruti doesn't sell Wagon R Stingray's projector as a SKU, you've to buy the whole headlamp assy. Didn't bother asking the price.

P220 never came with HIDs. Low beam = H7 halogen + projector; high beam = H7 halogen + reflector.

Yes, you can have a halogen bulb inside projectors. BUT,
                  1. The projector lens should be able to fit over your halogen bulbs in terms of length and width.
                  2. They should be wide enough to not scatter the light upon switching beams.

Normal HIDs (Chinese/local) use 2.5-2.8 inch projector lenses. Try sourcing a standalone projector lens (without HID/any bulb) which is 3-3.5 inches and you'd have the best setup in the world.

P.S - P220 projectors aren't sold seperately either. You've to buy the full front dome.

I tried this setup, but it didn't work as expected, so my suggestion is it would be a waste of time

There is no point in investing bulbs with colour temp more than 4300K.

H4 are apparently a direct fit to most Px43t/P43 sockets.

Not quite! I myself tried doing it on my bike in Chennai, where I sourced an old projector lens from Thousand Lights area for a measly 350 rupees. It was meant for H7 bulbs but I could even attach an H7-H4 converter and fit it in. But, I didn't have any means to fit it in, hence I left the idea. Plus the bike was only 5-6 months old. Lost the lens plus other stuff while shifting to BLR.

It's not a waste of money if you have the right stuff. Time, maybe some!

Maybe doing a Jugaad would help provided that the solenoid motor isn't there.. the HID Projectors are difficult to convert into a normal projector as the dimensions to hold the bulb is insufficient.. otherwise, get a Projector from the P220 headlight assembly and cut the H4 to the shape of H7 and use it.. also, there is another option which was discussed in one of the DIY whatsapp groups i was a member in.. making use of the P220 solenoid reflector and the projector setup.. the wiring diagram was also shared.. I am planning to get that setup done on my bike later next year... One of my friend is ready to give me his P220's headlight assembly.. I will be making use of that. I might go for a 500 kms ride to get it
