Yeah1 I agree that people might be feeling that there hopes were shattered, however my thread was never to increase the hopes to the sky level
it was just the information of a new variant getting launched. But on the other side as it's name suggest, it is HyperEdge, I dont know what people have percieved of it, but the name was kept such to indicate the technological changes in the bike.
As per my experience of riding this new variant I can say that this bike has actually been an attempt to remove those vibes that were the matter of talks in the past and also the bike sports an exhaust system to meet new emissions as well increase usable power and torque. Also an all new racier decal scheme somewhat simillar to McLaren
with a near carbon finish.
It has no spec change, but when you ride this machine you actually feel the difference of the output of the power, increasing the grunt that you always wished for.

Hahhahaa! one more rumor on it's way....Originally posted by sat_06 View PostHas the TVS stoped the production of 160 RTR FI, i have enquired 4 dealers in Hyderabad (Sneha, Vishal, Srinivas and Kiran) all of them have said that the bike is not in production for the last 8 months, and a RTR 220 is to be launched in another 3-4 months, is this true?
Can't say if it will be 220 but looking at the pace of bike launches by all the other companies, we can expect something for TVS. But no confirmation/concerete news till now out though.

Clutch plate change
Finally......! after i had little discussion with my mech he agreed to change Clutch plates-Pressure Plates
. Costs 750(clutch plates ) + 145 for (Pressure plates) + Gasket . It took good 2hrs to replace everything .
Well after changing plates now bike has become more aggressive it just shoots from 10 to 110kmph . Initial pickup (Punch) is back and am loving it
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

After taking delivery from showroom, I have never seen my bike this clean since 23march2009. You seem to spend more time in cleaning than riding.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostMy two year old RTR FI looks better than this Hyper Edge......

There's lot to it other than saddle....
