  • Ok, if u believe that it is. . Lets dont talk about bajaj's DTSi. Thats twin spark plug. Spark strength is still only one fifth of what the RTR ignition produces.

Does this high spark discharge has any negatives? I wonder why it hasn't caught on?

How much did u pay for it? & What's the price on the pack?

I bought one two weeks back in the old (blue colour) packing for Rs 240. This one seems to be the new packing (remember, CEAT is in the process of changing its branding since past several months)... did it have a hologram??? I guess the original one has a hologram.

Just about half an hour ago, coming back from college, Pune had this kindaf sudden downpour..The RTRs tyres are soo f*n slippery in the wet! omg! Maybe my on the throttle/brakes hard all the time did slightly make em look that way but they are crap in the wet..downright scary..easily i could've been plastered on some rickshaw coming the wrong side today...

                          Alternatives? Front and rear?
I replaced the rear one with a Zapper Q 110/90. Looks good.
AFA the grip is concerned its slightly better, but a good tyre can only help you so much on wet roads. I am dead slow on wet roads.

no any such precautions to take while opening the spark plug, open it with a "jhatka"
it should be light brown in colour, it shows optimum setting,if it's too light your bike's running "lean", if it's dark and has little "watery" appearance then your bike's running "rich"..........

before screwing it back again put some "WD40"(all purpoes spray) in the electrode and yes 2-3 drops of oil in the screwing area.........

dont worry about the tightness, but make sure you tight it the same after opening..................

IS it compulsary to put wd 40 in plug and the oil on the screws.
what purpose does it serve ?

i wanted to check the color but dont have any oil
