    Just keep a headlamp and spark plug in spare. and tube and foot pump, if its gonna much rural kinda ride.
    There's lot to it other than saddle....

      • Riding RTR160 for 7 months and 12000+ km, finally selling it today, price got 50K..bought it with 65.5K

        Its a superb machine..........Main reason of selling
        1. Started having back pain if i ride 50 kms or more at a stretch
        2. Pillion comfort

        Will be moving to 200cc+ bike, still dunno what, at this moment either ZMA or P220 ..or may be something else


        Will miss the thump

                    IMO your A/F mixture is just fine. The colour is gray, not white. The brown colour being spoken of AFAIK refers to two stroke bikes.

                    Here's a good spark plug guide.

                    Also, if you have a CV carb on your RTR, then loosening the air screw makes the mixture richer and tightening it makes it leaner.

                    If you want to experiment, find the air screw on your bike and carefully tighten the screw, taking care to count the exact number of turns it takes to tighten it fully. Then, try riding with a setting within a half-turn of the original setting, both lean and rich, while checking for changes in the plug colour.

                          dude the said brown colour is not particularly related to two stroke engine....
                          it always shows sign of good "setting" in 4 strokes and 2 strokes both...

                          in two strokes what u get it blackish colour tht too little wet if the "setting" is wrong or in case of the gasket blown...otherwise shows tht brown or light brown colour....

                          and when TVS provided RTR with choice of TWO carbs as you mentioned here "IF"...

                          it always came with a CV carb....
