      @Renny: I am also experiencing the Problem.They Tightened Cone set and Also Adjusted Many a Times.I got a RTR180 .You Mean I have to Tell them to Tighten the handle Bar!I felt it is Not Loose!

          Hmm I am not sure of the handle bar tighten solution

          Anyways from what I have heard, the noise comes from shocks, essentially the hole in Shocks is small for the oil to moveout so it makes that khat sound on sudden jerk. The idea is to get that hole widened & the sound will go away.

          I have now stopped bothering about the various sounds that my RTR makes

            these 'khat khat' sounds if they are coming when the brakes are applied indicates loose handlebar..
            tell the dumb SC guys that you want the handle bar tightened specifically...

              Renny its just a khat sound whenver the bike goes over the potholes or speed breakers, usually if you pass them on slightly higher speed than you are supposed to.

              Off late i dont hear it, I know for sure that in my case its not the handle as I had got them checked intially.

                i always took them in low speeds...

                if you checked the handles then yes surely shocks are makin noices....

                      renny, by handlebar you mean the steering bearings or cone set right?

                      cause that's what used to cause the thudding sound on rough roads on my bike somewhere between the 1st and 2nd services. and yes, tightening that helped. i've never faced the 'fork' sound as described by techno. hope it stays that way.

                      btw, how many km on the odo now? mine's around 12.5k .. wonder who has the longest run fi here. come on guys, post your responses.

                        mine has done just over 6500, my daily run is about 12-15 kms....

                          hello guys, today I adjusted my rpms to 1400 but the rpm needle is fluctuating a little after that. What to DO??

                            acjust your RPM when your bike is HOT i.e after a run of 8-10 kms with your headlights "on"...

                              My Fi has done 9500 kms as of today! Surprising, considering that it was bought only in Jan and my R15 has done just around 10K. 1 tank, cone set, front and rear pads changed.

                                Bought it on 28th July, 2008, my FI has done roughly 27.5 Ks as on date.
                                Digital meter changed twice , so atleast 27 Kms is sure.

                                More changes done on my bike are:
                                Front and rear disc pads changed.
                                Fuel Filter changed
                                Injector Kit replaced
                                ECU replaced
                                Clutch plates changed
                                Chain set changed recently

                                And the bike is standing at home waiting to go for servicing
