Well, to be frank am getting an amazing response from RAMKAY. Last service they found out problems and rectified them and attended to everything I said. They even agreed to use my MOTUL fully synth oil and allowed me to watch my bike being serviced. The only other issue are various minor problems, like forks and steering bearings. from now on, no more experiments with my baby.. pure stock it is gonna be.. buyin a rx for trial and errors now

What I know is ,in Kerala ,Main Dealerships and even service centres are visited by people from TVS.I see they are doing some kind of Audit in a near by main dealership.
In My Experience ,If you are suffering too much to resolve niggling problems like some RTR FI owners have(As I read) ,Just Mail or Contact TVS Motor's Regional office and Explain them Your Problem.I was having that "Thud" sound which was not resolved by Cochin TVS was looked after immediately after TVS guys visited the dealership.
Again,this shows We cannot rely too much on TVS Service ,since they are not upto the standard.hence ,the need of intervention from their offices.

TVS service is very poor . They have only 1 service center in south delhi for FI bikes. and another one is nearly 25kms from my home. the present one is also 15kms from my home.Originally posted by julianpaul View Post

The noise from the chain has returned and after seeing the pathetic svc here i have learned to live with the pick-up missing prob but will try to get the injectors changed. do you think they changed my bike's parts because this problem emerged just after i gave my bike for service or is this just a coincidence??
OT- I found formula usa carnuba wax in big bazaar for rs 200/ how is this this thing??

I also spotted the same thing for Rs 200 in BIG BAZAAR . But in other bike shops , I found the Formula1 carnuba wax polish for something like Rs300-350.Does any one know how to identify the original thing ??
One more question to people here .... I had mentioned earlier also , about my rear disk problem. Its been 4200 kms around , and the rear disk brake is losing its power day by day... After every service (just done 3rd free service) , the stopping power seems to go down ..(Yes , I use front brake for stopping) .. Now I am thinking that Front brake has also weakened a bit ..I complained this in my service , the guy told me disk brakes cant be adjusted. He checked the rear disk pads , and said they are good (He just looked it from rear where the pads are visible) . Any thoughts on this?
Also , I had complained about the vibes , but now that problem is taken care of(Vibes still there but a bit less).. ya right its a character :P , The engine is smooth now , but I feel a dip in power also ..Well , to be frank , after every service , I fell loss in power ...esp .in pickup and mid range ..Or have I got "used to" the power that I dont feel it anymore ?? :P (Mine is RTR-Carb rear disk , I should have mentioned it before) .Last edited by bikerboysyd; 10-16-2009, 10:16 PM.sigpic

Regarding my experiment of 55/60 headlamp upgrade, found following things.
1. there is drop in performance with headlamp on.
2. magnetto is over heating
I think this is happening because of loading only charging coil. Today switched the headlamp on AC. Running it via relay, which is driven by dc circuit. Kauria is working of refining the setup by putting in extra regulator to charge the battery faster and using both coils of magnetto.
Note: The drop in performance and heating of magnetto, both issues as noticed by kauria. Cause, i had not tested the setup thoroughly before, and as used it in traffic only. So didn't noticed it so much.There's lot to it other than saddle....

no need to fit chain cover as such,it'll look just too bad....

the rear disc of RTR is not that ferocious as the front but it loosing the available bite just after 4200km raises doubts, go and get it opened and tell the SC guys to clean the pads and the whole disc brake assembly....Originally posted by bikerboysyd View Post

the dumb SC guys there always fiddle the setting of the carb at every serv and they always tune the engine to deliever more milage (i think they're trained to do that
)
to get the power back close the air fuel mixture fully and open it for 4.75 turns....
you'll get back the original RTR.........
