Well, you have connected the h/l directly to battery. Let us know what happens after a week! Anyways, what bulb did you use?

slight deposit like this is normal in RTR and you'll find the same around the 'head' too....
But it occurs again even if i wipe it!! Any suggestion for rear tyre,I want a broader tyre then stock one...............

so much for all the trouble and time spent...

mine too does 118 max (crouching but windy condition). dont know if thats a prob. but have heard RTRs doing more than that.

Yes i was also crouched but i think a 2-4 Kms were left, if i got a little more space at that time. I saw on youtube some people doing 138 Kmph on RTRs, I don't know whether it is a speedo error or they got extreme machines.

that's the top speed of the RTR....
if you'll keep on giving it a full fisted treatment on top with you in crouched position you'll be able to see 125 but for that you need atleast 2-3 kms after achieving 118.....

you can see 150 on the speedo if you'll enter downhill slope with you on your RTR doin 118-120...
the max RTR can achieve varies...
ONLINESATISH achieved 136 on his RTR on straight and i achieved the same on my FI but it takes time..
it gets to 126kmpn very easily and quickly.....

Even my FI has done 125kmph with a pillion, touches 122-123kmph in a lot of occasions.. but whenever i was riding alone i could reach only up to 120kmph.. this must be bcoz of the conditions like wind, gears that u're wearing, slope of the road etc...

I gunned my friend's RTR Refresh on a downslope-it reached 122kmph on the speedo with about 80% of throttle. I assume it had some more juice left in it-I should have twisted it more, but the road was too narrow!

on straights with full throttle crouched it'll reach 125-128 within 1km......easily.

                      Things changed..,

                      Carbon deposit in my piston

Scratches in my cylinder (i believe its because of K&N )

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                      • ^^Oh u used K&N? That surely will impact ur cylinder walls man! Remember that these filters are porous and will surely not filter as much as our sponge filters do...

Dude, just a small question. Did u chuck out ur old airfilter box and got the k&N fitted directly onto the carb's mouth using a small pipe???

I am using 55/60 philips standard headlamp.
I am running with the same setup for last 5 weeks. I have seen the low battery indicator once after riding for 2 hrs in busy traffic(i am running larger horns, each consuming 3 amps equalling 72 watts). The bike was standstill for about 5 days before that. Other than that, no issues. Kauria also have done the same setup.
There's lot to it other than saddle....
