scan the bill here lets see what have they charged you for!For clutch plates, it depends on your riding style, so if you feel drop in power/mileage(in your normal riding style) it time to change the plates. 14K km is too less IMO. For brake shoes change the shoes if they are about to be worn out(I think they might have told you this as a part of preventive maintainence). I hope you went there with someone's reference.
My bike is yet to see change of 1st set of clutch plates, running fine at 32K kms.

I got mine changed at 27k kms.

treat ur bike like a newly born baby who needs some care n medicines initially!
