Most probably, ASC would replace master cylinder's piston. Do ask them to replace it under Warranty.

There could also be possible that the brake lever has worn out (where it touches the piston). Mine was worn out and the difference was around 5mm b/w new and old lever. This made a big difference in displacement while squeezing the brake.

Gave it to the svc today . they hav agreed to replace whatever neccesary in the brakes under warranty. I had sent a mail to tvs and got a reply from GM-service and got a call today from sanjay yadav- service manager in delhi( i am not sure) and also got a call from ankit saran- engineer. i also complained about the pik-up missing problem and bike stalling sometimes . he said my idlind rpm is low and he will look into the brake issue. will collect the bike tomm

Will try 45/50 headlamp soon. Searching for cheaper option for RTR regulator. Trying to get RTR's wiring diagram and details about magnetto.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

Never heard of this product before. I would still like the petrol-cleaning method. That makes more sense!!

But still you can give it a try!!

that one is existing in the market for some time. heard abt it many years back. But then, why would you need to clean your carb & choke at 1700 KMS?

I wouldn't even think about something even if my bike clocked 17000 KMs.

                    • Hi All....I am planning to install an NGK iridium plug on my RTR carb ... done 4300Kms... Just wanted to confirm the model no , if any one has installed it. I found this model CR7EIX on NGK website for Apache RTR. Is the the right one ? I have done 4300 Kms ( 6 mths ) , so should I wait for some more time and complete a few kms ?

. I thought it will improve the acceleration a bit..

Increasing accelaration is not as easy as just plonking in a plug. The plug will give you more even firing&much better coldstarts though. Life will also be about 3 times the life of an ordinary sparkplug.
Look up the Sparks thread for more info.

check for an improvement for in-gear acceleration at higher speeds. Your acceleration beyond 80KMPH would have improved noticeably. That indicates less misfires by the spark plug.

But isn't our bike's spark plug twin electrode one? the model which you have said seems to be single electrode!
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.
