oh heck.... I wish TVS does launch their RTR 200 like this. This is so simple and so beautiful.

But looking at the USD front forks & mono shock I believe this is a mod job or a design work. Even without the USD front forks and the same brakes as in other RTR's if they can get this simple extra stuff the bike just rocks. May be even without the monoshock. The RTR would take back the crown of most beautiful bike in India

it is a PS job. Silencer is from Fazer!

Good. getting it to stock or do you have any wild plans for it?

mine is leaking engine oil. Need to get few things done. My bro's friend crashed it 2 days back!

hi guys.. i am from chennai.. just now ordered apache RTR 180 Yellow..

i read few pages in this thread and found all guys are from india.. and also very much versed for raping apache

i want few suggestions.. wat mod can i do with my new bike to increase performance, looks etc.. like injector etc.. what stickers can i stick and which is good place in chennai for those? hope u can help this newbie..

Dude, Congrats on your new bike.
Its not advisable to do the modifications to the new bike, Moreover it will ruin'ins the warranty also. Follow the proper running period and you can see the difference with the stock bike itself.

well you checked everything in the carb so it's not the culprit anymore,and you seem to be the master at it....

but still i dont know why the bike is behaving like this,(like missing and showing the signs of runnin outta petrol) just cuz you filled in tankfull of higher octane petrol....

how many turns in the carb you tuned?

Renny & Nox: Its seems to be a common problem with all carb RTR. Even my RTR seems to show this sign when it was new, SC guys was unable to fix it. They replaced all the items like Carb, TCI & TPS, but nothing works great. Lately I discovered that the problem is with the TPS, when I disconnect it from TCI it behaves fine, but connecting the same it struggles to pull speed between 3500-4500 RPM. Lastly I use WD 40 spray in all the connectors of the TPS & TCI and this problem just vanished. Till time not faced any problem regarding this.

But last time during my engine rebuild SC guys change my carb with a new one for testing, and surprisingly I found the same problem again, so, I immediately request them to change my carb with my old one. And the problem vanished.

Even I have seen this problem with the new RTR and 180 also. God knows, who the culprit here is. No tuning can solve this prob I think, may be the problem with the carb design it self.

Now a days I used to clean my carb in between 3000 km and it works fine, I open three turns the Air screw, and it works great, but always found some dry carbon deposit in the plug, although never get any better FE then 40 kmpl. Its around 30-40 kmpl now with all type of riding. Long since not checked the top speed, last time it was max 120 kmph. Its already clocked 17000 km.

And a small thing I would like to share, try using the YAMLUBE SL grade Mineral oil, its superb, engine is butter smooth after almost 1500 km.

NOX will send you the RTR manual shortly, due to the size of its I am unable to publish it here.

is there any diff in the carb of first GEN FIERO and the RTR??
i mean in the jets or in the whole thing, cuz i never experienced this in my FIERO.

Dude, tyres of 180 is not that bad, I was riding in my friends RTR 180 after rain. I was really good with the wet road compared with my FI.i will suggest you to invest in riding gears or in helmets, After some time you can change the sprockets to the racing kit one( I heard the racing kit is available in Spencer plaza ). RTR 180 is already a beauty with lot of stickering works
