Techno's fuel gauge looks like the RTR-FI fuel gauge!

The fuel bars in Carb RTR usualy starts narrow and becomes wider as it reaches the top.

But in FI and in techno it not the same.....its almost the same size till the top!

          Carb RTR!

Duh he is saying that the fuel level at the empty stage is a bar which is smaller than the one at the full level for the carb one, whereas it appears of a constant size in case of the FI

in the case of FI and refresh .. it appears constant ..
only in the RTR the meter is increasing step by step ..

Nope i meant only the fuel gauge to that of the carb RTR and not RTR-refresh(yuckiestname one could think of)

I went and checked out the new RTR's......the speedo's are the same as in Fi as sam says only diff being the FI light and the blue backlit!

He was confused SP......we were talking abt the fuel gauge and he was refering to the speedo's from the new lot of RTR's

                      • I think the FI thingy has the lap timer thingy..and not the refresh I think..
Coz me too saw the 0-60 and top speed thingy but not the lap time..guess ur just supposed to read the start time on the console clock and rmmbr the end time..voila..lap time..

                          LOL m1g

I think FI has 0-60 timer while Carb has only lap timer which is mentioned as STI i.e.Shortest Time indicator which as per manual means "STI records the minimum time taken so far to reach the specified speed" will see how this thing works once runing in is done

                          • The carb version also has 0-60 timer i have the carb version which is currently showing 4.7 sec 0-60 time.
The Fi has two of them.

Usually nut allenkey and the engine mounts (near the begining of the silencer) go hand in hand.... so if one gets loose the other remains loose...
I guess you would also have an odd firing sound... something like a clickity whirr... duh!
If yes then check these mounts and if possible re check all the mounts on the main chassis

Park your bike on the main stand and fire it up, check for the vibes or wobbles, try pushing your silencer and the footrest to check if they are fit enough (If no then step 1 again )
If yes, then if the chain is still loosened up then better get a link off or get a new chain...
I took the bike to the service center today.
The point at which the gear shift lever is bolted had gone in after the fall and also the engine mounting bolt had broken. Both the things were taken care of now the bike is absolutely fine.
