2)idling at 1000 RPM,No i dont blip it,The bike dies off on it's own whenever it want ...nothing related to the spark plug?

Rear wheel bearing gets worn out so quickly ? i had prob this problem since 1000kms on the odo

waaw hope mine can go like that XD
Next time you go for service tell svc manager that you want to be with bike while mech service it
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

yeah. scream, shout, kick and just barge in with and go where your bike is. tell the mechanic working on it what your problem is.

I used to visit the showroom if I had complaints and wait for what seemed to be like hours.

And once I lost my head, pushed two people - straight went up to the place where my bike was being serviced - showed a fist or two to people who were like "WTeff" - vomited everything on the mechanic (read as troubles/venting the anger) - and what do you know the mechanic was so gentle and understanding! he did the trick for me. carefully sat and analysed the problems (that I mentioned before in this thread) and voila! Good to go!

As far as the bearings are concerned, I am not sure. Mine got worn off after about 7850kms off the ODO (all rusted and looked ugly).

      • Guys...I have got this RTR for some months with me.
There are some issues even after I did a certain repairs.
        1. thud sound from Cone/ handle.
This sound was there so I replaced cone set, but even after tightening it, there's still a play in handle T and it makes thud sound every time front is braked or i encounter a speed-breaker or pothole.
Pls tell me what could have gone wrong.

        2. Front brake does not operate progressively. rather i need to apply force to actually brake the speed and this results in jerky braking. I have replaced pads to minda (Rs. 180), can they be duplicate?? causing the problem. I didn't opt for OG pads as they are Rs. 450

        3. there was water in the tank, which eventually went in carb. I cleaned the carb and tank. Now after refitting everything in place there is some sound like a turbocharger sucking air and I am not getting any clue as to where this sound is coming from.

        4. The engine is reluctant to go over 60kmph, I have to wring the throttle real hard to go over it and bike vibrates like anything above 60kmph.

        5. I would like to change rear tire to Michelin Sporty 100/90-18. how good is this tire in terms of GRIP, MILEAGE and Life of tire in terms of Kilometers.
Please help me out solve these issues.

All these things...the bike has great pickup and returns a mileage of 40-45KMPL. It has covered 32000km so far
anything that can go wrong will surely go wrong at the wrong time and the wrong place

Sorry i cannot help you much but . For Point 2 > is it spongy ..? there might be air in brake line ..try bleeding .

for point 5 > WARNING i am using this tyre from past 2-3000kms . It has worst inline grip so when ever you brake hard on straight line bike fishtails a lot + tyre has even worst grip on gravel and loose mud patches on road you can feel it ( basically its a FRONT tyre which dealers sale as Rear tyre ) Please avoid it

I hate it too...using it for the past 8k kms! Waiting for it to wear out! Pathetic grip around cornor's as well. There has not been a day where the rear slides when i go into a cornor!

I have done everything, but this issue's still there. Should i change pads and put OG pads?

Hey how about MRF Zapper Q... Is it a good tire?? will it do justice to RTR's capabilities?

It's definitely not shocks problem. I am dead sure that thud noise comes from steering setup. I have checked for play in Steering assy. and there is too much play, which i have tried to adjust by tightening cone nut. but even after tightening it fully there's still play.

                  My thoughts in bold.
