The R15 has a pretty soft coumpound rubber. Blends really well on the track and on demanding corners on roads too.
Cost of R15 fr tyre is 950. rear MRF Zapper C for RTR is 1050. 2000 in total.
you got that right .. in one of our recent GTG's

So, you mean that the one which is not fitted on the bike is the stock tyre of R15...!! Not possible man...it looks pretty fat(than the usual R15 tyre)

Did someone mail you the pic..??

        OR

In other words we can say that there are even slimmer tyres than the R15's stock tyres(i can't imagine of any) .. !!

Nope. A 17" rear will give better handling.

That was the pic we took during the latest R15 championship at MMSC. the bike u see there on the pic is Yamaha's factory registered bike, ridden by the factory guys. They acted as track marshals. THIS TIRE(the not fitted one) IS INDEED DOING DUTY ON ALL R15's. The reason it appears small is due to a small rim used to give it a more rounded profile and provide better handling and cornering capabilities.

This is interesting, any idea why did TVS put a bigger size wheel at back?

Also what is the RTR carb's on wheel power after transmission losses?
