  • @sumondatta Thanks. I was talking about the revolutions of the fuel screw.
Sorry for my poor choice of words before.
Let me be clear this time. I was tuning carb for obtaining optimal mixture. So, i had set the rpm at 4k while tuning and after finding out a stable fuel screw position, i put it back at 1.2k rpm. What I need to know is, what position of the fuel screw according to you guys gives the optimal mixture(by that i mean, how many turns of the fuel screw)?

    • @Kantu, I opened my spark plug cap. But in order to examine the color of the spark plug like in the link you provided, do i need to remove the spark plug from the engine?
P.S: Sorry for the double post. I thought it'd automerge.

Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

I am planning to get Same spec tire Zapper Q 110 90 18, apart from touching mud guard will it give problem with swing arms too ? In hyper edge I wont get issues with mud guard so I am worried about swing arm

              • well, don worry - the tyre does not foul with the swingarm, only the inner side of the rear fender closer to the airbox...

hoping that that the inner fender from the rtr 180 would solve this problem...

K&N wil not give you any significant gain even after upjetting. If you can up your budget to 6.5k and go for big bore from joel. Don't waste money for insignificant upgrades.

I think you will get 2+bhp increase and increase in the mileage too, contact Joel for exact figures. But the cost is correct.

Buddy difference between rtr160 & 180 is just 1.5 bhp, if K&N could give 2 bhp no one would go for 180.
