With the Fi its always slightly risky to go the HID way. Plus most of these cheap Chinese HID kits don't have much reliability and tend to cause more harm than actually improve light output.

The most risk free way is to stick to stock as the lighting is more than adequate.

But if you need more lighting, you can explore getting 65W H7 bulbs and replacing the indicator, number plate bulbs with LED to offset for the increased 10W requirement.

How do I replace the low beam bulb on my 220F?

I have removed the rubber covering and the connector ,but can not seem to remove the bulb.

I can feel some kind of metal retaining clip where the bulb is. Do I push this together and do I need to twist the bulb housing to get it free?

    Thanks
its simple , push then take out the clip ,pull the bulb out yes just pull. put the new bulb ,lock the clip . adust the beem if required.
u need to remove just the black plastic base of fairing to change the lower beem bulb .

Haven't done this in a long time, but IIRC the socket of the bulb has a "push-fit" kind of connector.

IMO, always best to get the fairing out (painful I know) to do this. Because if when you put it back and don't close it well, dust will accumulate quite quickly inside the housing.

Plus you would need to probably adjust the headlight level after that as well.

I was using Fy1 90/80 R17 before masseter, so i guess height haven't changed much. yes i loose width, my riding is mainly in city so reduced width doesn't matter much. Yes the road undulation are transmitted to handlebar and it feels lighter. Main reason to get masseter is to increase braking performance.

one more thing , there is some whistling sound like some air is getting sucked from the ecu i think whats that sound , pipe connected to ecu is brand new & leak free
How many kms has the bike run? It is possible the pump may have conked off (worst case scenario)

I don't remember seeing the wiring diagram in the service manual. Even if it has one, it may or may not be relevant to your bike as the FI wiring underwent a couple of change through the years it was in production.

Till today i use to think that AFR can only be set by CO setting tool. There's a screw on intake manifold which changes airflow. Hiccups can be result of lean mixture, Try setting it on lower side to reduce air flow to set proper afr or make a bit rich.
