Basically you use a zen mpfi's air filter instead of the oe air filter. It's a doable diy. The idea is from psr sir. I had done it and posted a diy. Please search the thread.

I am using NGK G power spark plug, new air filter, new carburetor!, Motul 20w 40 mineral engine oil.

    Any suggestions pls....

For my riding style I prefer 4~3.5.

    For increase in FE overall,
    1. change Spark plug to NGK DPR 8 EGP " G " Power plug
    2. use thinner 10W30 engine oil...This will ofcourse increase engine temperature and rough running..compared to 15 or 20 w40.
    3. Ensure you have a clean Air Filter and replace Air Filter every 8 K kms, more in dusty environment.
    4. Change Spark Plug every 12~10 k kms.

Was using a 32 mm carb till yesterday. It used to run around .8 km with petrol off. Changed to a used zma carb yesterday and checked with petrol off. Still runs 800 metres. It was returning around 43 kmpl in highways with old carb. Will check spark plug.
