    Coming back to HIDs.. I got HiDs from "HAWK" 20 days back. It does a decent job of lighting the road and doesnt drain much of your battery power as the Low beam is a normal yellow bulb and the high beams are xenons.

    I dint buy these lamps for showoff or anything of that sort. I live towards the highway and i hate people who drive at you with high beams. And also the approach to my house isnt well lit.. so riding back home with stock headlights is a pain.

    So for city traffic I have the normal low beam yellow bulbs and to piss off people and light up the road I have my HiDs.

    It dint drain to much of a battery power coz I used a cut off to reduce the power intake by the ballasts.

    Im considering of removing those HIDs now, as I got "Angel Eyes" on my headlamps. I'll post some pics soon..

        WTF...oops..yes i meant levers..was just so excited about the whole things.
        the accessories for the bike are available in 3 colors..racing blue/champagne gold/titanium black. costly though..but look dame good.
        most of the yamah showrooms might have them displayed and for sale to..they also have the whole rate list on the accessories pamphlet.
        the owner of the showroom knows that im very much into bikes..was asking me "..so what all should i get for u..?? is this enuf...or u want more..??" i replied..the stuff is not enough ..but the price is way above satisfaction..so i guess i'll conclude that this is enough for the time being.
        the rear seat cowl is for 2000Rs. rim strips for 300Rs,LED position sets(for the Pilot lites in front) for 500Rs. Levers for 1000Rs(clutch) and 1100Rs(front brake). so u see..damn expensive..i dont know whether is worth it or not..but are great parts to accessories the ride
        Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

            A Test Ride!!

            Hello PPl,
            This weekend i was at Perfect Riders bangalore, looking at the R 15, the bike looked neat and t people at Perfect were just perfect..i felt at home..The sad part was the test ride not being available, however thanks to one Mr.Pablo, he gave his bike to me to experience a small ride..Thanks Dude!!
            The bike was smooth and the refinement was what i noticed first, however the things that i am worried about is the riding posture esp in bangalore traffic..and the bikes suitablity for tall guys (I am on the buklier side). Those who have ridden R 15s in the cities, plz let me know what you think.

                    @ indra - the colour change was personall taste and it dose not voide or cover in the warrenty.

                              There was this guy riding an R15 in Indiranagar Bangalore with HIDs. If this was you man you are going to hear some choice words from me. it is sad that many ppl completely disrespect oncoming traffic. Use HIDs with a projector if you really want to as I have the experience to say it is truly blinding and highly distracting.
