    thats true...lets wait & see how our baby reacts with the new heart in it.......but one thing friends...remember that the bike has a limited capacity to churn out the power....i don't know how far will it be successful with the ecu remapping

      I know for a fact that the test machines had rev limit cut off at 11.5k RPM... Imagine 1000 RPM for 6 gears.... I guess Richer it is...

        while we are imagining .. did anyone imagine a crossplane crankshaft inline 4 being given as an option .

        I guess I will be happier with a simple remap. The surge of power at 7K is brilliant and if this curve can be flattened +-2K RPM that will be good enough.
        Somehow I think this can be done by just making the mixture richer. 5 BHP and all I don't have hopes and am not even sure the v-ixion gearbox can handle the increase in torque.

        And if YAMAHA is reading this forum. I do care about the environment and I will plant 2 saplings for every 1 BHP gained and 2 saplings for every kmpl lost in trying to gain that 1 BHP. It is a win-win situation.

              Agreed .. currently the bike performs well. Anyone tried a red light drag. Man this bike gives me more thrills than my RX. It is just unbelievable how smoothly it puts the power to the road. The RX 135 would send all the vibes through you but that was a pleasant experience on it's own.

              Keep the engine boiling and the engine appreciates it.

                  Guys .. do any of you have a small ridge in the center of your fuel tank.. (from the seat to half way to the fuel lid). Funnily I don't remember if it was already there or I caused it just now by putting pressure on the tank while braking.

                  Looks like I caused it .. looks nice though .. like a muscular arch.

                    my another long ride starts tomorrow morning... this time with a tank bag and saddle bags. updates once I come back or if I manage to get a PC with Internet while on the trip...

                      another query .. whenever I brake hard, I hear a noise such as the swingarm hitting something or the chain slackening and then tightening up again.. just want to know if anyone else hears this as well. Obviously as I am riding I am unable to pinpoint the exact source of the sound but it appears to be the chain or swingarm.

                          hey guys.. this is not to build an argument here... but have anyone of you come across a faulty alloy?? I have seen the pictures in orkut

                          Is this a common phenomena ?? how could such a thing happen to alloys ??

                                thts sunny's bike.....he went over a pothole and this happened!
