DHARAVI, MUMBAI - custom luggage and jackets - leather - cheaper than Cramster but don't know about safety standards compared to Cramster.

Are you talking about the red coloured plastic cover that goes over the bulb.

That is a common spare part and Royal Enfield official spares it swould cost Rs 50.

Or you could fit that anywhere else for half that price.

Who buys an entire tail lamp set for such an issue yaar ?

                  Quiet Thunder

Hey guys it's been interesting reading this thread. Got me a RE E5S beginning of the year and Iam loving it every ride _ that's every day. My Quiet Thunder is my sole transport as of last week, but do I need any other? The car is rusting in the garage.. Speed? Mileage? Well, my QT doesnt actually guzzle the gas ... so no probs there. As 4 speed, depends on the road incline (I love the quiet rumble of the m/c going uphill _ mostly that where I am neway), more so on mood. But I try to follow sane ride laws . Long live RE

went to coimbatore.bought a pair of taillamp lens costing Rs58 each. Original Minda One.believe me! coimbatore got most of the spares which is hard to get for two and four wheelers.
I bought it from aditya automobiles cross cut road ,coimbatore.
also bought a pair of adjustable cam spindles(OEM) costing Rs170.

I fail to under stand what difference would it make to have the adjustable cams and the normal cams even the normals cams have a provision to tigten the pinnions when they are lose. and it make no sense getting them changed while you are having no problems with them and then you would almost need to get the whole timming side done again and i am sure it would give you no benifit over the performance, i fail to understand why are some people so adament on repairing some thing when it is not broke though i would say it is good thing to. but why would one repair it when it is not even close to being broke.

Thanks and no offence intended to any one

still does not make sense. reason when you take out the old cams you have to put in a oversize cam and are you sure that you have bought the correct over size. cause if you would know if the crank case is bored out incorrectly for the cams then it could become useless and you may end up with nothing but a new crank case i am sure you know what does that mean.

let me suggest you some thing. sorry not trying to be a "I KNOW IT ALL GUY" but let it run the way it is cause your bike is a new bike as compared to mine or just any other Bullets you know here, till the time you are going for performance donnot feel free to do stuff,

                          thanks

^will keep it in mind. thanks for the input.Let it be with me .
and the cam sound is bearable these days. but seeing the opportunity ,I bought one.

I am running a lean mixture on my electra 4s.Now ,if I want to have it run in normal way and power ,what is the jet size and all(if at all needed) needed? Is there anything I need to say to the mechanic?
I am getting a constant mileage of 40kmpl plus which acc. to many is too much for a CI bullet.@desideep ,your inputs especially needed.

you dont need to fidle with the jet size the stock jets are more than enough. for a normal use the 40KMPL is good if you are running it lean but make sure that long rides can do a serious damage to the bore and hence your engine. try to keep stock settings. running a CI bullet lean is not a good IDEA. rest as you are on TEAM-BHP you can contact Sankar he would be in a better state to take up your questions or even our own PRAKHAR who has been away for some days would be able to answer the questions that you have...
