    By saying go for 500cc carburetor do you mean CV BS32? Wouldn't it be an overkill on 350cc? Also correct me, is Amal, Mikarb and Mikuni all different? Which are VM and TM carb?
    UCE Engine butterfly carb is advance technology and does not need up jetting as main jet size is 110 I believe. After fitting Conical filter you need to set right air flow.

    Mine is old CI engine and is fitted with VM24 and 500 CI engine is fitted with VM28 Carb. New gen engines are fitted with BS series of carb... Except New 500CC Standard other models are not fitted with Carb as they are fitted with Fuel Injection (FI) System.

    Sorry, I can't throw the light on whether BS 32 will overkill or perform well in your bull as I am not aware or rather have not seen any one doing these mods on new Bulls.

    Amal, and Mikuni are both different manufacturers. Amal predominantly manufactures performance parts for old gen engines (CI and AVL). Mikuni on the other side manufactures both VM and TM type carbs...

      Main jet is 110 in BS 29, correct but still to compensate the increased air intake of free flow air filters the rejetting has to be done. The fuel screw cannot control beyond a point and rejetting becomes the only option.

        Completely agree.... that you need to up size the main jet for more performance, but at the cost of fuel economy.

        With current jet size it is sufficient for optimum performance (Fuel consumption and better pick-up) and not killer performance (Super fast). Again determining right size of main jet will be critical factor here and needs lot of R&D with the carb settings.....

            Hi friends.
            I own C350 2014 model. I am done with its first servicing. Before first servicing the bike use to deliver me 38kmpl. And after servicing it is delivering 28kmpl.
            I am very much worried about this.
            If there is something to do to the carb, please let me know how to do so. How to tune the carb to deliver efficient mileage and power.

              I am planning to add RE to my family or should I say I am planning to join RE family...and need your opinion.

              How is RE Electra Twinspark?
              What are its drawbacks compared to other REs in 350 segment, especially reliability within RE family.

                  Buy it (or any vehicle for that matter) if you love it and you'd maintain it. No point buying something because others bought it! Ask one of your friends to lend their bike for a while and try it out

                    Why do you want to buy a RE ask this question first honestly from yourself just becuase girls are buying or someone else has got RE dosen't mean you should also buy this vehicle, girls are trying to show to there male counterpart that they can also ride motorcycle and to me that's the rubbish thing, if you can only get complete only by showing something to someone else than that does mean you have admitted yourself that you have lost your identity,an individual can ride or drive or can do anything that's his problem, according to your height you are bit short but with a little bit of practice you will be able to ride the bike, just ride the bike of your friend extensively, i mean on congested roads, in bumper to bumper traffic, and a little bit on highway also and see how comfortable you were with the bike.If you find the bike appropriate then why not go for it.

                        If you are in love with RE then then why not go ahead and purchase the bike, i would have suggested you thunderbird but according to your height it will be difficult for you to reach for gear pedal and brake pedal as in new thunderbird both of these controls are stretched forward, so electra or classic is appropriate for you.

                          I own a std 350 and planing to upgrate stock headlights with LED or HID along with LED indicators
                          I have 12v5ah battery installed and not sure if that can take load of 6 led (4 indicators,headlamp and tail lamp)
                          With simple calculation I can get total 60watts but I want to know how to distribute this and which headlight should be good enough
                          Thanks

                            From my experience, LED head light consumes lesser current than Stock 35W headlight bulbs that your MC has. However light output is Not Satisfactory in most cases, at least not to my personal taste. Same for Tail Lamps.
                            LED Indicators ? Why ? If your indicator's been blowing, check grounding. It's low wattage anyway !

                            HID from GOOD make is GREAT "provided";
                            1) you are ready to change the complete dome & internals
                            2) you are ready to pack the extra wiring inside the little space of your bull's head.
                            3) You are ready to accommodate the HID Kit in your LEFT Tool box.
                            4) Most importantly, change your battery to above 9AH, meaning;
                            a. Checking whether stock alternator can charge the higher rating battery to required level. NO in almost all cases. So, needing to change the ROTOR (NOT STATOR by increasing wiring turns mind it)
                            b. Preferably replacing old wiring kit with a new one. That's quite economical.
                            c. Changing the Battery Holding complete bracket (Back plate & Battery Cover). 5AH battery is smaller in dimension. This means lathe, fabrication & paint job.

                            Cannot stress more the importance of using a QUALITY HID. Definitely avoid the cheap ones.

                            Take care. Ride Safe.
                            Anirban.

                              Need urgent advice regarding the standard 500 uce model.. Till few weeks back I was happily enjoying my dolphin exhaust on my bull, but due to the recent crackdown I had to switch back to the oem silencer. I am now planning on changing my oem silencer with the Indore silencer. Any advise on that? And does it comes with glasswool or baffle or is it free flow? And should I lookout for something while changing to this?

                              Thanks in advance

                                2. Should be good quality. The stock ones (MRF) are pathetic if considering puncture frequency....
