Re: Royal Enfield
Well, that depends upon the local rules of the RTO where you are purchasing the bike from. Some places you can just take the delivery, ride to Delhi and get it registered there. But at others you will not get the delivery until you have the registration number ready with you.Originally posted by Rituraj_singh View Postbut how i will get it registered in delhi .. i.e. Delhi no. ???Tour de Thar 2014; Exploring the Thar Desert

Re: Royal Enfield
hello bulleteers !
i m proud owner of bullet standard UCE from april 2013. My experience is very good till date and 15000 kms.Have not spend anything extra than normal service.
I was not satisfied with the thump so did a small DIY an changed whole silencer to Cast Iron bullet including bend pipe and now the thump at slow speeds is very good.

Do we need to rejet even if we fit a cylindrical filter instead of conical?Originally posted by Naynish View PostFitted with K&N Conical filter R1100, Jet up sized to 100
I am thinking about fitting a pipercross or bmc airfilter in classic 350 2014 model.
And is it true that we can expect mileage increment after replacing the stock airfilter (unless we ride it like a Royal Enfield)...

I am the proud owner of RE C350 since a week.
I am very much enjoying riding my bike.
But I am facing some problems with it.
I always tend to kick start my bike at any part of the day. But when I start it in the morning, it doesn't starts in 2-3 kicks even though I pull the choke out.
But it starts by using the self starter at the first instance.
Please help me friends

punisherkunal.....No up jetting required for new BULLs. New bulls are fitted with butterfly type carb; but surely you need to tune your carb for better output. Make sure you get tuned from professional or experienced mechanic. Right air flow determines the end performance.
To answer your second question; frankly speaking I have not experienced mileage increase or drop after fitted Free flow AF. But for sure your motorcycle breathes well in turns better combustion, if carb tuned properly.Power is nothing without control

Re: Royal Enfield
Hey buddy nice looking Bull there. BTW I have few questions for you. Did you change the pilot and main jet both or only main? Can you tell me the previous jet sizes and current jet sizes and also the performance and mileage change after using K&N and rejetting? Actually I am thinking for this performance mod on my Bull and now gathering all the information from wherever possibleOriginally posted by Naynish View PostGuys contribution from my side.........................

About kick start. First make sure your carburetor is tuned properly and second I hope you are kicking the right way

Thanks gyan_recl350.... Let me know if you own CI engine 350 or AVL or the new one(Twin spark). CI's carb is old type and main jet size is 90. I have up sized it to 100. For AVL or Twin Spark engines, they are fitted with Butterfly carb which does not need increase in jet size. Regarding mileage after fitting conical air filter, I have not notice any drastic drop. But yes motorcycle's air intake ability increases and hence better combustion.
If you want serious performance upgrade go for 500cc Carburetor or Amal Carb (which needs to be imported) with Conical K&N filter. But fitting 500cc Carb or Amal Carb needs different set of modifications.Power is nothing without control

Re: Royal Enfield
It is UCE RE Classic350. I am sorry for not telling this at first place. It has BS29 CV carb in which the butterfly throttle valve is directly connected to throttle cable. Why you say that in this type of carb there is no need to increase the jet size ?Originally posted by Naynish View Post

By saying go for 500cc carburetor do you mean CV BS32? Wouldn't it be an overkill on 350cc? Also correct me, is Amal, Mikarb and Mikuni all different? Which are VM and TM carb?
