EDIT: furioussphinx a member here has HID on his P200, you can ask him about it's performance, i think you might have to beef up your electrical cables to withstand increase in power and upgrade to a bigger battery, probably have to change the electricals to a full-on DC instead of the AC/DC we have default. And you can't go for a HID for the hi-beam as it's not approved by the Govt. so you would have to settle for a hybrid setup (normal for hi-beam and HID for lo), and HID-beams can get nasty hot, so you have to take care not to burn your reflectors out too. IMO i think it is better to go for a normal halogen lamp, rather than going through all this fuss of HID'ing your lamps, because if the mods aren't properly done it could end up screwing your whole electrical system, and you can't afford that esp. when P200's don't have a alternative way to start (other than jump-starting)

thanxx for the tipzz....hmmm....ill stick onto the halogen.....
i want that white light thats y i wanted the HID....any bulb that gives good enough bright white light???

                      • I probably should be getting my bike tomorrow, this is the third time from 20th of last month that i'm going there to get my bike, the last two times i went there i found my bike exactly in the same condition as i had left it, when enquired they always gave me either of these two crappy excuses 1. Sorry Sir, the surveyor did'nt come or 2. We don't have enough manpower, so i'm really hoping against all odds that the bike makes it to the workbench this time, and here's the list of parts that i've asked the SVC guys to replace top-down according to priority

                        High-Priority
                        1. Frame
                        2. Fork
                        3. Tank

                        Medium
                        1. Exhaust
                        2. Speedometer
                        3. Headlight

                        Low
                        1. Headlamp Fairing

                            • The damage on the bike looks decieving, at first i too thought the damage was only cosmetic but when you ride it all the skeletons come out, but i think it flipped over at a healthy 75-80kmph after hitting a stray pavement boulder that had come off the divider

                              • guys.. great news finally. Osram are really helpful. Spoke to a rep and finally found out they're available @ Mahim. Although they come in pack of 2, they're willing to sell single bulbs as well. Will get one asap and let you guys know!
