Has anyone else faced problems with the gearbox?

Looks like the Twister has not become popular after all.
My wife finds the pillion seat very comfortable. She used to complain a lot about the FZ's ride comfort but she has no problems at all with the Twister.

I too have the gear slipping problem occasionally. Hmm...guess its not an isolated incident as I thought. My bike too has no vibrations upto 55-60 km/h. Have not ridden beyond 60.

And yeah there are hardly any Twisters on the roads. The bike sales just haven't taken off yet.

I think that's ex-show room price of base version, also 58k is on-road price(meaning includin taxes+registration etc., but without accessories as it's from Honda!!) for the one with disc brakes.. drum brake version will certainly be cheaper by another 5 or 6k (I'm hoping so).

Get all these from GP road. You can get a good price. Dont mind spending more (above Rs.1000/-) for a good helmet.

For all guys, check your mileage only after the first service. To be precise, you should check only after running-in (above 1000 km)

I argued with the showrooms guys for Ten Minutes and then left the matter..Its not for not giving Proper Address proof but it seems like 100 is the amount that goes into the pocket of RTO for every bike that is being registered..50 bikes registered in a day,the whole team of RTO shares
                  5000rs that day..

Taking and even Giving bribe is a punishable crime.

By the way, who knows the Rs. 100 might go into the showroom guys pocket too. After all there would be no documented proof.

Dear i have mentioned on road price...and yes it an Base model price...List of Price are as in Delhi

Delhi CB TWISTER KICK DRUM ALLOY Rs. 43,040 ( Rs. 46,902* on Road) CB TWISTER SELF DISK ALLOY Rs. 49,152 ( Rs. 53,445* on Road) CB TWISTER SELF DRUM ALLOY Rs. 46,096 (Rs. 50,174* on Road)

*On road price does not include optional items like - Accessories, Extended warranty, AMC..

Yes, she sits double sided always. She tried sitting single sided once but she was not very comfortable. But that could be because she is not used to sitting like this.

Nope, I don't have a pillion holder fitted. What is that anyway?

                            me getting mileage of 64-67

lowest was 64 now in rains ..in mumbai

ii have seen tire pressure recomended for front is 25
                            and rear is 36-41 single/pillon

36 psi on rear tire with pillion makes the bike wobble -- hence i keep 41 psi but MRF recommends this( 41) as max air pressure for rear

is this a good practice even if i am riding single most of time ?
