My bike stays in the parking lot in a lot of sunlight and rain, How do I protect the bike from loosing it's colour and parts from rusting? Should I cover the bike? And what should I use to protect the bikes chain? Any chain spray's that you people are using???I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Check your manual. There is a limit of looseness of the chain. If its loose than specified value, please take it to SVC/Machanic to tighten it.Originally posted by Sammythewizzy View PostWell, I checked my bike, and yes the chain is slightly loose.. I'm guessing its supposed to be that way though.. I bought my bike on the 28th of last month..
You can use a cover that is made of Umbrella sheet. It will protect the bike from rain and sun. Better park it in a shade. You can use Motul Chain Spray. If its a O-ring chain you should never let it run dry and lubricate it every 500kms.Originally posted by Horror View PostMy bike stays in the parking lot in a lot of sunlight and rain, How do I protect the bike from loosing it's colour and parts from rusting? The chain is supposed to be a bit loose. What kind of problem are you having due to the loose chain? The gearbox feels good to me with honda oil, but if you wanna still use castrol 4t then ask your dealer or service person if you can use it.Originally posted by blackcatasus View Post
lose chain is a big issue.. i would like to know if it is o ring type
the gearbox feels better on castrol 4t than on honda oilI would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Well my bike had no problems cruising at 50.. And at 60, there were slight vibrations.. Didnt push it further... But I think after the 1st service, it should be able to touch 80 (read it somewhere).. My first service is due in a week btw, and I've only managed to clock about 470Kms so farOriginally posted by raja_roadster View PostPeople does the bike perform well on higher speeds it looks so light how does it do on higher speeds

I just finished my first service about a week ago or so. The bike touches 70-80 easily. That was on the highway, I had worn a helmet and couldn't check for wierd sounds but there were unnoticable vibrations, but very mild. According to me the bike can go upto 90.I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

What mileage are you getting after the first service?Originally posted by Horror View PostI just finished my first service about a week ago or so. The bike touches 70-80 easily. Well... it looks like that the CB is no great on extracting mileage. I read a few pages of this thread and almost all of the owners are claiming mileage between 50-60kmpl. Now, if anyone ask me that's not a commendable even not appreciable for a 100cc motor. Something around 70kmpl, then it's worth a buy. No Kudos for Honda CB Twister.

Well trucks are usually on 60 or 70 kmphr speed and overtaking at that speed is a bit tidious for a 110cc engine, but in all my highway experiences(i.e almost everyday) I have never felt like being dragged behind. It might be because I only weigh 60 kilos and the bike can easily take my weight. I haven't properly calculated my milage but it's giving me around 60 after my first service. But I normally drive at 70 -80 km/hr speed and it's is supposed to burn fuel at that speed. I f you strictly stick below 60 then you might get really good milages.I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

The Twister is supposed to give 70 kmpl in ideal conditions!! So, in regular traffic conditions I'm sure it will give 60-65 very easily.. Most of us were reporting our mileages before the first service when any bike gives less than expected mileage... IMO its only after the first 2 servicings that you get proper mileage..Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostWell... it looks like that the CB is no great on extracting mileage. That being said, the Twister has got amazing pick-up... So you can't write it off so simply!
