Just got to know the price of the air filter. Genuine honda spare costs 130rs only. will get mine changed this weekend.
I check my tyre air pressure everytime i'm refuelling. coz it is very important for the tyre to give longer life.

if air filter is costing 130 then its descent price.thanks.you should change the old one.I wonder how much a spark plug would normally costs, any idea?their is nothing much that needs regular change other than air filter and spark plug.

      • yup same tyre pressure here...I hate that the manual is available only in hindi, difficult to read...
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Actually i read a twister user review on mouthshut.com website, where the reviewer claimed new tyre pressure as 25/25 for single and 30/41 for dual rider.so just wanted a conformation on that.now if you look at this new pressure for single rider, the front tyre pressure is same(i.e 25) where as the rear given is less i.e (25 instead of 29 given earlier)so i think with lesser rear tyre pressure Honda is trying to address the low gripping problem of rear tyre in rains.but lets not use it unless we are conformed. There is one more way to find out.I have seen a label put near the rear tyre on all twisters.on this lable they have mentioned the tyre pressure same as on your manual.so if you visit showroom anytime you can just have a look at the lable on a new twister and see if there is any difference.

When I bought my bike, the only manuals available at the showroom were in hindi.. But that is to be expected I guess, considering that I bought it in a small town in gujarat..

                    • Bike feels sluggish

hi everyone!! I have done just about 2.5k with second service done.i regularly warm up engine for about a minute before departure in morning.my bike working satisfactory. The thing i have noticed is that after running about 20Km continuously from cold, bike feels slightly sluggish compared to when it was running initially.the engine sound feels touch higher after 20km and feels like it not as eager to move as it was during first 20km run in morning.in short engine feels bit stressed and needs little more throttle to get same pick up/performance.you wont notice the difference in engine sound level if you are wearing helmet bcoz difference is not high.what have been your experience and possible reason?i feel that 1)engine oil loosing its viscosity thus engine bit hotter offering more friction hence sluggish.2)silencer after it gets fully wormed up causes the change in sound level.

also once i come to stop and turning off ignition key, there is a "Tuk Tuk" sound coming from silencer which lasts for 3-4 minutes.

                      • Seems like a strange problem indeed...never experienced anything like that in any bike till now. The oil viscosity thing came to my mind too but I dunno if it can make such an effect.
The tuk tuk sound after killing the engine is normal. Its due to the bike cooling down. My earlier FZ too used to make the same sound.

                        • @sachin: I don't know about the slugishness but the Tuk tuk sound you are talking about is defenitely there in my bike too.... I thought it was a new bike so I was having such noises but now after completing 1400 km's also I still get that sound...I think it's either from the engine or the chain expanding and contracting due to the heat...
I just filled fuel in my bike and it gave me an average of about 70...Wow that's cool(2nd service done)

i should get a new filter. jus opened it and used air pressure to remove the dirt. didnt help much but bike feels better now. earlier there was drastic drop in performance.
