But there will be a noticeable diffrence b/w the left cowl and rest of the body... BTW how did u skid? I have gone on wettest roads and moderate sand but was always stable... what speed were u?

Common senses suggest the option one .. check with ASC the cost diffrence
why waste money on new cowl??? i must go for painting only... even if it look odd wiht rest of the body....something is better than nothing...

ok better i will ask that ASC guy whether it will look odd or not.

once again i slammed front break while riding on dusty road , me riding on left side. not even 25kmph. riding on sandy dusts thats get accumulated on roadside.....

i dont know why i keep on doing this same thing again and again.

ONE THING TWISTER IS VERY VULNERABLE EVEN FOR MINOR FALLS... MY ENGINE GUARD WENT SLIGHTLY BENDED AND LEG REST ALSO GOT BENDED. I DONT WHICH TYPE OF METAL THEY MAKE BIKE BODY

    • fiber, watch out for any rattling noise coming from scratched area of front cowl.i am already facing this problem after accident, as ASC is not able to fix it with adhesive. In that case replacing cowl is likely solution.......which in turn makes repainting old cowl a complete waste of money.

Fyber why are u just applying only front brakes? Make an habit to use both brakes simultaneously, Even on my CBR C-ABS I apply both simaltaneously..... U need to pick this habit

Yes true As I said common senses suggest replacing the front cowl... It will burn a hole but will be better for long run

          • Guys i am doing 31k kms on my bike and yet to get any trouble of vibrations from the plastics.

But yeah has anyone got the rear suspension adjusted????
I just got the suspension made softer, costed me Rs 350. the ride feels much better now.

Also i feel my battery is running low on juice, not that it has dried up, but the lamp brightness looks reduced.(any ideas bout this)

Baazi, how did you got the suspension adjusted . about the battery..since its a sealed type i dont think there is much you can do about it.try and see how it works by charging it externally.

Yes the front cowl comes in two halves right and left... You can change the left one... Check out and place an order with ASC.... it might take time to get the spares....

                      Sachin
My mech told me that the suspension is too hard and the hydraulics are out and its risky as the forward cone is under pressure, and then referred to me a suspension shop,
where the guy pulled out the springs added more hydraulic oil and added a couple more rubber rings,
all in all the response is much softer and can take on tough roads with greater ease... feels much better now..

                        • You can also fix some sticker to hide the scratch for time being & watch any noise that may creep later.

                            • Checked the mileage on full throttle on the highway. Rs100 petrol lasted for 50kms. The bike was always above 100kmph. At downhills of overbridges it was above 110mph. By the way, at sane riding it gives 70kmpl.
Love the ride, not the destination
