Again the chain hasn't been cleaned. The front cowls still vibrate, moreover, they have messed up the paint by applying adhesive to the cowl and putting their finger on it! The rear tail light doesn't light up on pressing the break pedal! electricals also messed up!

Madhav I write to CEO as a last option with all the necassary data and photographs which nail the delear. I try to solve the problem with ASC MAnager and then the ASC owner then Honda Gurgaon office... by phone.... Ensure you have proper records before you write to the CEO and also exhaust all other options. I write emails and not letters ... Also rule of thumb is get the service done in front of you ........ shouting does not solve the problems Insist service is done only in front of you.... Have they charged you for cleaing the chain? Have they lubricated it? Sometimes they just lubricate if cleaning is not necassary... I had clead and lubed my chain on Sep 13 .. So this time in second service they just lubed it even though it was not necassary....
As I said front cowl is held by adhesive So you had to be present while the work is done .. Video tape it... And then we will look at options .....

Rix in twister As far as I know there is a mesh like a wired net which needs to be cleaned and not changed like highend bikes every time.... I need to verify this info from Pinaki/ Sachin.......

@rix & Ramesh, as per maintenance chart, there are two things to be cleaned.
        1)Engine Oil Centrifugal Filter
        2)Engine Oil Strainer Screen
from what i can understand, strainer screen is the wired mesh like thing and Centrifugal filter is the main oil filtering element.
procedure for opening oil filter is not given in user manual......so i am unable to comment on this right now.I will do DIY guide once i do it myself.I did not get a chance to see mechanic opening the filter during my free service...but its a pretty easy job once you see someone doing it. check below link for a general idea on oil filter change.

        • Hello everyone! I am going to buy a twister tomorrow.
can anyone tell how the golden yellow colour looks after one or two years, will it maintain the gloss which it has when it is new, or shall i go for the grey one, because even if the gloss fades out in the grey one it doesn't look bad but yellow does.
Thanks to sachin, rix, rameshap, and pinaki for lots of info, i have been reading them and following this thread for the past one month

In brand new engines there is something call rubbing band fitted on lower half of piston,(i.e piston skirt)its a ring like thing made from special material Phosphor bronze. The purpose of this ring is exactly the same as honed surface,i.e to help form perfect seal between new piston ring and cylinder wall.this ring wears out after initial running in....this is how my thinking actually turned similar way towards bike engines.
You may be interested to know that in the early steam engines , they used piston rings (if you can call it that) made of hemp packing material .

Since I don't own a twister .. (and therefore am here to give you all faltu advice) ... this is the page on oil filter in my new splendor+ manual(lost my old cbz-x manual it seems) . It may or may not apply to twister engine .. I dunno for sure . Maybe you can get some help from it .

color are purely personnel choice and it differs from each person.you may not like what i like.yellow looks bit faded after the shine goes away.mine is green one,and i feel its bit of too much attraction for people.I find young guys touching and sitting on bike when parked in open.If you are college going guy then go for white/green and if working man then go for black/red.
Black is universal i.e it goes well with all types of clothes.

As far as colour is concerned its a puerly a personal choice.. I have a green one looks amazing and attracts stares from every one...... Black I dont like as it's quite common... a well maintained bike being serviced regularly(I mean to say here waxing at every service and teflon every six months) not parked in sun for prolonged period any colour will work.. In twister White and green looks amazing ...... If green was not available my choice would have been yellow... White was not available in July when I purchased Blue was a good one as well but Honda has stopped blue when they introduced grey and white

                  • My intention of posting the previous post was to know if there was any one who owns an yellow twister for over a year, and what it looks like now, i mean still it has that gloss or not. anyways as ramesh says with good maintenance- its not an issue.
@ramesh and sachin- could you suggest some needed accessories.
                    Is teflon coating an accessory

Saree Gaurd, Number Plate, Grips, seat cover are standard accessories... Teflon coating will decrease the chances of fading while parked in the sun... Its advisable usually for Rs 45/- u get 3 coatings 1 at delivery then at 6 months and then at 1 year after that each coating might cost 250-300 every 6 months.... Remember be it Teflon or any other accessories what ever u invest in your bike for safety and maintanance it will pay you back

since this is the first bike i am buying i am bit tensed.

                              Fyber two options

1)Change the front cowl (< Rs 1500 approx)
2)The ASC will scrubb the affected left section and repaint ... Atleast my ASC does this as I have seen a twister getting repainted... But there will be a noticeable diffrence b/w the left cowl and rest of the body... BTW how did u skid? I have gone on wettest roads and moderate sand but was always stable... what speed were u?

Common senses suggest the option one .. check with ASC the cost diffrence

Are you sure that for 45 Rs they will give 3 teflon coatings.
I have asked the sales guy he is saying that for teflon coating it would cost 375 rs.
