dude,That is the moto mans technique for bike running in and its highly controversial.I dont think small CC bikes like twister should be run like that..neither it is recommended by Honda.Americans only use high speed cruiser/sports bikes like harly Davidson...where that method may be used for running in as for them only speed matters....he has no experience of using fuel efficient bike. my running in period is over long back so moto mans technique doesn't apply on me. I will probably cross 10k mark by this month end..will give you a full maintenance report.

Madhav try doing this with your twister in the run in period and I bet for rest of your life you will not get a mileage of more than 40-45 kmpl......

You must use Front Brakes ! either single or coupled with rear it wont harm unless you are not straight , front s are supposed to be used to bring down speeds gradually or immediately it does its job perfectly when bike is straight up if you are cornering then rear should be used.

I meant dont use front brake only... use both the breaks simultaneously, no matter what the road conditions are...

Take it to the ASC probaby the tyre has a manufaturing defect, else a crack at 7k is impossoble... U must be getting a warranty replacement.

the guy on the page also asked the same question, in fact his opinion is that all aspects of the engine(not necessarily a vehicle engine) are enhanced and last longer. Controversy ka baap.
