flush mount involves more cutting of the dome and brace with clamp... the purpose of black paint is to make the beam look like its coming from a point, hence there is not that reflective glow, which i honestly prefer, but painting is an option . SOme mechanics hide mistakes in their dome cutting by using paint so make sure you find a good accurate instller if u plan no paint.Originally posted by bulletnjeep View Post

I won't paint the reflector. It looks better without painting.Last edited by bulletnjeep; 09-29-2012, 06:01 AM.

Good RUST remover / preventor ?
Guys have any of you used any kind of rust remover or preventor ?
Lately i hav notices rusting on the exhaust pipe (near the rear brake pedal), right shock column , stand , and also regions under the steering column,.. the regular screws and bolts rusting wasnt a problem as it could be simpky replaced if too rusty... but what to do about this sudden outrage...
i tried polising that are it worked , out a layer of black paint (for the exhaust) but after a couple weeks its worse..
i just cant see this beauty just fade like that, (apart from this rusting plague) the bike looks brand new ,like out of showroom , polished , scratchless and that too being 1.8yrs old ...

sorry man i have no idea about that... i did it on my own , using a drill with 5,6,7mm drill bits .. drilling and increasing the size of existing hole gradually with each size drill bit till i got the right size..Originally posted by Anil Shinde View Postwhere can i get this done in thane?????

Friends i've got a mileage of 83kmpl
in city driving on my bike for a 100rs petrol(1.39L covered 115kms) still it's not reached reserve so might-be it'll go some more 5 kms.I'll always check the mileage by reserve to reserve method only. Even all of you already knew that i've changed to wider tyre. This is all happened because of my changed driving style. Now a days i'm not at all going beyond 55 kmph even in empty road.. So guys who all are struggling in mileage issue try to change your ride style.

could you post pics of the carbeurattor ? both the left and right to get the exact idea of the screw position you are setupto for fuel and idle... we can compare and know what works best for which condition..Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostFriends i've got a mileage of 83kmpl

yes thats a good idea...rajesvelam...post a pic of fuel screw on carb. there is line or slot on the screw where we place the screw driver for turning the screw....by looking at that line i can easily guess the position. by the way i was reading this months overdrive magazine..there is a mileage test done between splendor 100cc and dream yuga. they filled 100 Rs petrol and run both bikes in bad traffic condition.....splendor returned 52kmpl and dream yuga returned 47kmpl. Dream yuga gave less mileage because its much more fun to ride as it had much better throttle response and rider could not control himself from opening the throttle as it was joy to ride encouraging rider to quickly go past economy speeds.its the same thing happening with Twister which has same engine and better throttle response then dream yuga.Originally posted by 2wtourer View Postcould you post pics of the carbeurattor ? both the left and right to get the exact idea of the screw position you are setupto for fuel and idle... we can compare and know what works best for which condition..Last edited by sachin1111; 09-30-2012, 01:11 AM.

Hi guys,
Been long since i have come online on this forum, its been long since i have been commuting on my twister, the odo still reads 49k.
Actually planning to go for a bigger bike as i have grown tired of the 110cc engine.
Love my twister but just feel the 70-80 speeds are not enough esp when i am cruising on highways,
No expenses after the last sprocket change, bike is a gem, its a bliss to ride in the city. Just change engine oil at an interval of 2.5k kms
May be ill sell it off as i dont have enough space to park two bikes at home. (No call taken on the selling part yet.)
