What are you people looking for?? High power LED's?? Like this..? 12v ready, actually 4W but gives arnd 25-30W halogen power, no need for construction works but will need an LED driver.. I dont know your skills, but for some crazy stuffs, try these but be warned, you need a big heatsink with a fan or boom :P EVen more crazy? hook up a transformer to step up 12 to 35v and hook this up, probhably will give the light of a 120W halogen! If you ask my suggestion, matte black coat your headlamps interior and fix 2 of these inside it.. will give 10W LED power which is arnd 40-50W for halogen, very low power consumption and ready made with housing and heatsink...Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostEven i too noticed up-to 50W LED's in Richy street. but it's quite high in price & also it requires some extra setups to run,so it's not easy to do it. That's why i'm looking for plug & play Kits,
When will you get your HH Hunk tail light assembly, I too tried but got quoted around 1500rs

i have asked a local mechanic to get me, he says he can get for under 500 so i said ok, just waiting on him to acquire it. For some reason all parts store no matter where are quoting so high rates , the small shack mechanics have so decent rates.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostEven i too noticed up-to 50W LED's in Richy street. but it's quite high in price & also it requires some extra setups to run,so it's not easy to do it. 50W i feel would be too much , as 1w LED = 3W halogen . .. a typical 3W LED costs 10rs.. so with all components involved would cost around 300-350 for 35-45W.. if doing by self.. let me get some time i will make some and may be sell a fe

Bored of teh stocks!
Hi everyone, My name is Mehul Mewal.I bought my Honda CB Twister in teh last December and I've been riding it on stock since then. Now that I'm bored of teh bike, I want to do some modifications. So here it is I've made a list of teh things I want to customise.1. Teh headlamp - I've been seeing a lot of bikes with white lights these days. What are HIDs, Projector lamps, those neon-like rings and Angel eyes?2. Body colour - Its white. And i want to change it to some other but i dont know what to so i need suggestions.3. Rear tyre - Teh rear tyre is as narrow as a cycle tyre. I want to replace it with a wider tyre. How this can be done? What are teh things except teh tyre and a good mechanic?4. Taillamp - I'm fine with teh tail light but i want to remove teh mudgaurd and replace it with R15 style number plate only.Your suggestions are most welcome.Thanks.

I could provide the circuits and schematics for people interested, fitting it was the headache!Sorry mate did see yer videos on you tube like months back itself . a, actually in 011 ... nice work , especially the Tach! .. and means you could build us one
The biggest problem with leds is that even if you manage to build these, you need a suitable HID like lens to get the throw on the road or it will be like an emergency lamp with scattered light. And cooling them is such a pain, even 1W leds heat up so much, cooling a 10-20w would be massive. You can easily convert AC to DC with 4 10A rectifier diodes from an electronics shop. If thats hard, get a Minolta RR and hook it up. The hard part for the LEDs is that you need a current controlled LED driver for the particular wattage. BTW I have ordered several parts from DX before and all have reached within a month, wonder what happened to yours :-\yeah trying to make something like this but with a power of 35/50W LED ..hi/lo ....! i did order leds before from DX but they never reached me, was ordered in JAN , i got my refund though ..! also these are all DC based so we are trying fro 12AC to DC converters too.!!

1. 2 options, Fit a 35w HID kit with angel eyes or replace stock bulb with a 35W purewhite Xenon bulb. First option will be around 1.5k to 2k but will look like pulsar 220 headlight along with the so called white or yellow rings. 2nd option will cost only some 350 -500rs depending on bulb brand.Originally posted by bulletnjeep View PostHi everyone, My name is Mehul Mewal.I bought my Honda CB Twister in teh last December and I've been riding it on stock since then. Now that I'm bored of teh bike, I want to do some modifications.
2. White is a pretty neat colour, changing it might need you to correct your RC book to the new colour you paint.
3. You can replace it with thicker tubeless tyres like 100/80 -17R which is 2cms wider than stock tyre similar to Yamaha SZ, 110/80-17R similar to dazzler or 120/100-17R equivalent to Pulsar 220. The wider you go, the lesser mileage you get, the lesser pickup and the more money you have to spend for the tyre as well as petrol. I would suggest 100 or 110 max
4. You will need to cut the mudgard and screw in alloy plate holders like on the pulsar 200NS and R15v2, if you run a lot in rainy season, prepare for getting your back in mud.

Something like this maybe.. you should find the ppl who can do it.. http://eshop.ktautopart.com/media/ca...m/img_2099.jpg
RC book is legal stuff..
100 size tyre will be 1950 for tubeless..
Mudgaurd will be a mess if you dont do it properly.. you should fix the indicators also on the aluminium clamps..

If any modification is done before the warranty period is over than it will void the warranty!! Because mostly SVC people think battery and lights as their sole property...lolOriginally posted by joseph.alukka View PostSomething like this maybe.. you should find the ppl who can do it.. http://eshop.ktautopart.com/media/ca...m/img_2099.jpg

Hey is this yours, I've already watched this one some months back in YouTube but don't know who'sOriginally posted by joseph.alukka View PostI think none saw my previous post with video, anyways here is my tail lamp setup.. The video is taken with full brakes applied.
What you have mentioned here is all can be only used in indoor but not in outdoor because of it's less lumans.Originally posted by joseph.alukka View PostWhat are you people looking for?? But the LED's you have mentioned is correct i'm going to try with that type only
Actually i'm looking for a LED setup exactly like this
CrystalLumin - Superbright LED Car Headlights
And Hella company already made some compact LED with projector arrangement which is having H/L setup but not available in india.
Premium LED headlights | Hella Special OE
there are local and genuine parts are there so be aware of you mechanic.Originally posted by 2wtourer View Posti have asked a local mechanic to get me, he says he can get for under 500 so i said ok, just waiting on him to acquire it. Ya i'm going to try with a 50w LED like this
LED Headlights - High Power HID Alternative
1.Going to HID with projector setup looks cool & works fine but it'll drain you battery with in an hourOriginally posted by bulletnjeep View PostHi everyone, My name is Mehul Mewal.I bought my Honda CB Twister in teh last December and I've been riding it on stock since then. Now that I'm bored of teh bike, I want to do some modifications. So here it is I've made a list of teh things I want to customise.1. 2. Changing body colour is not an big issue even here i'e noticed lot of guys has been changed the colour to custom one
3. If you want more grip & stylish tyre then go with Michelin Pilot sporty 100/90*17 what i'm using costs 2000rs.
But going beyond 100 section will not be good for this bike.
4. Removing mud guard is not only affect you it'll also affect the others who's coming behind you in rainy seasons. For that you have add full tyre covers which is used in pulsar 135, 200NS & R15 V2.0Last edited by rajaselvam_1987; 09-24-2012, 12:39 AM.
