Not exactly... had to push the left side much inside.. this is the reason why panel on the right side got inflated outwards a little bit but one couldnot make out when seat is on... and i am very satisfied with the battery backup... especially getting started up in one single click even sitting after 3-5 days in idle condition.. can anyone suggest me on changing the stock airfilter to green filters by K&N???Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostLooks nice, Is the side panel fits perfectly after this battery got fixed.

Friends dont go for Green,K&N,.... filter it'll kill your bike engine. Always stock is good in air-filter.

In my opinion K&N filter is of no use for 110cc bike.....it will do more harm then good. what K&N filter do is allow more air to pass which spoils the factory set tuning making Air fuel ratio lean.....and retuning may not help because there is limitation to how much fuel a small CC engine can burn there by increasing the risk of engine overheating.what you should do is change the stock filter more often say every 6-8k km....or once every 12 months....this is a safe option.Originally posted by shantanu1989 View PostNot exactly... had to push the left side much inside.. this is the reason why panel on the right side got inflated outwards a little bit but one couldnot make out when seat is on... and i am very satisfied with the battery backup... especially getting started up in one single click even sitting after 3-5 days in idle condition.. can anyone suggest me on changing the stock airfilter to green filters by K&N???

Thank you for the suggestion but the problem of mine with changing over to new stock filter is that i have cut the outer cage of air filter box to accommodate 5 amp battery. so, will a new stock filter fit in again as the size remaining is a bit smaller then the recommended and desired one...???Originally posted by sachin1111 View PostIn my opinion K&N filter is of no use for 110cc bike.....it will do more harm then good. what K&N filter do is allow more air to pass which spoils the factory set tuning making Air fuel ratio lean.....and retuning may not help because there is limitation to how much fuel a small CC engine can burn there by increasing the risk of engine overheating.what you should do is change the stock filter more often say every 6-8k km....or once every 12 months....this is a safe option.

if the sealing surface of filter have not been cut then it should be ok. there is one small black plastic clip insert and a sealing gasket surrounding the filter element...both should not be damaged or cut. otherwise some air will enter the engine bypassing the filter due to these cuts and gaps surrounding the sealing faces..this will damage engine. also you can try getting a new cage from service center and try some other smaller battery.Originally posted by shantanu1989 View PostThank you for the suggestion but the problem of mine with changing over to new stock filter is that i have cut the outer cage of air filter box to accommodate 5 amp battery. so, will a new stock filter fit in again as the size remaining is a bit smaller then the recommended and desired one...???Last edited by sachin1111; 09-17-2012, 02:01 PM.

cannot replace with new cage because i had to cut the cage to fit in my battery. and i require a battery of heavy power. this is the reason i changed my stock battery.., anyways thank you for the suggestion... but i am a bit confused about not using the K&N Filter because of thread posted by our new member rohancyberdude... so will have to think about changing the filters to stock one or green one.. Only 50RsOriginally posted by shantanu1989 View Postwhen i purchased the new Amaron Probiker battery from a dealer, he himself purchased the my old one and deducted Rs.50 for the same costing my new battery Rs 1100/-. Thank you for the suggestion.
. You may used the old one by paralleling the batteries. If you did like this means you may got 8.5amps battery.
Normally my twister is reaching max 110kmph in stock condition. K&N filter is allowing big dust particles to the engine, it's very harm to engine inside surfaces. In beginning it'll give good performance but later it'll slowly reduce the engine life & performance.Originally posted by rohancyberdude View PostK&N filter is amazing in twister using it from last 6 months, pickup has increased , bike touching 105 km/hr earlier it was approx 100 km/hr . mileage increases if you drive your bike b/w 40-50 km/hr as airflow increases .. and roaring sound is amazing ..!!
If you are not touched the right side of the cage then u can fix the Stock Air filter by closing the left side gabs at least by insulation tape. else you don't have any option, you have to go with some other air filter.Originally posted by shantanu1989 View Postcannot replace with new cage because i had to cut the cage to fit in my battery. and i require a battery of heavy power. this is the reason i changed my stock battery.., anyways thank you for the suggestion... but i am a bit confused about not using the K&N Filter because of thread posted by our new member rohancyberdude... so will have to think about changing the filters to stock one or green one.. okey.. then i will try to do it your way round... and about the earlier battery, it was an old one and it didnot keep hold on the charge even for a very short period say 2-3 hours.. so thought of just removing it.. moreover i donot have any extra space to fit it in parallel mechanisms..Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostOnly 50Rs

the front view of your twister seems great and is appreciable... looks good
have too many cosmetic cahnges planned, some might even improve performance as the will reduce electrical load
