Yeah Nikhil , I too get between 54-58 when I have to ride my Splendor in congested city suburbs in 2nd-3rd gears and frequent clutch-brake-shift all day . You can't avoid riding like that .. gotta get around for work and errands , nahi ? I think your bike is even lighter and better for this purpose . On a long run I kept it steady at 40-45kmph(with great effort and restraint) once on my way to the airport to pickup a friend and that day it gave 78kmpl . But riding like that on open roads is a punishmentOriginally posted by Nikhil Pereira View Post

[QUOTE=Nikhil Pereira;863338]thanks for info Nikhil...will surely check that place.most of the older Honda ASC here are overloaded with Activa and deo models which have flooded our roads.i think thats why motorcycles are getting neglected here.Originally posted by sachin1111 View Post

Not too sure about the side box. But the Hayate is equally a good bike like the Twister. Both are 110 cc Hayate is a tad lower on power but I feel wat swings it in Suzuki's favour is its 5th gear. Not only does it keep riding relaxed on the highway but aids alot in mileage. Hayate is cheaper too.

i think it will be difficult to fix side storage box on Twister......still suggest you to consult the man who does that job.side boxes made by "Studds"...(makers of helmet)..may be compatible after some modification.Originally posted by kds1980 View PostHello

guys,a new system called Engine Start/Stop Technology is coming in 2 wheelers within next few years.Honda has already launched this in their latest 125cc scooter "click 125i" in thailand. It will save about 10% fuel during city traffic stops. This new system automatically stops the engine during traffic idling as per the pre set Timer and restarts the engine as soon as you twist the throttle.thus you need not manually start/stop the engine using your bikes self/kick starter.

They dont agree because either they think they are smarter then people who created this bike or they need extra money to clean that stuff. If you follow the maintenance as recommended by manufacturer then it will surely remain trouble free for many many years to comes. On the other hand skipping maintenance will shorten its overall life and you will have to go back to that same mechanic for repairs who will be very happy to do the job because that's how he earns his livelihood.I would suggest you to Go to some private mechanic and get the job done...and buy the spares directly from Honda dealer.Originally posted by abhay.m.limaye View Postactually i saw that too but when i asked two ASCs (Sterling Honda) & one local mechanic to do the job, everyone said oil filter is never cleaned... i even showed dem user manual bt they dont agree... so i just wanted to confirm....
